Had a faulty stick giving me BSOD so decided to replace the lot in one go. Half the price they were the first time around and much better LED control. Hopefully will last until 2026 when tech advancements warrant a new build.

This review is for the Corsair Vengeance RGB RT 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600MHz C18 Desktop Memory Kit of 2. If you are not an IT savvy, Ram is where data is stored before any processing occurs within your computer… so it’s one of the most important hardware in your computer after the CPU and the GPU. DDR4 is the latest dynamic RAM technology, mostly only compatible with newer motherboards. The benefit of using DDR4 instead of DDR3 is that DDR4 RAM has higher overall speed, increased transfer rates and less voltage which means less overall power consumption by 40% and boosts performance and bandwidth by 50% to DDR3 RAM. Corsair it’s always been a trusted brand for me, I have used their RAMs in my gaming PC’s I’ve built in the past decades. Would highly recommend upgrading your computer with this DDR4 Corsair Vengeance Memory if you’re regularly using programs that require a lot of memory like games, engineering programs, or photo and video editing software. I’ve got the 2 x 8 GB module with 3600MHz which is fine for gaming and for everyday use. Also, it worth to check your motherboard before you buy it, as it might not be compatible or will not allow to RAM to run on the highest MHz’s. To find your motherboard model in Windows 10, go to the Power User Task Menu, type in “run” and then “MSinfo32.”. This Ram is mainly optimised for AMD 300/400 and 500 series motherboards Installing the rams is simple and easy, it’s a plug and play hardware that does not require any software. I would suggest saving anything what you’ve been working on the computer, as most of this information is kept on the ram until you save it, and you will lose it when you turn off the computer. Remove your old ram and put in your new RAM sticks, match the notches with the gaps in the motherboard and push firmly and evenly until you hear a ‘click’. After you’ve installed the new RAM kit, close your computer. Restart everything and reboot, then you RAM is ready to use by your CPU. The RGB lighting effects can easily be changed using Corsair’s own software to match several pre-sets including one snapped to the temperature of the memory so it can go slowly change from green to yellow, orange etc depending on how warm they get. This is particularly handy to keep an eye on the current temperature levels inside your case. Use the CORSAIR iCUE software or your motherboard manufacturer’s software to create your own setting. This RGB colour features makes this Corsair Vengeance a beast ram a perfect hardware for gamers. In the amazon description is not mentioned however on the packaging box it says comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Compare to other DDR4 RAM on the market this one is a little bit pricier but it’s a CORSAIR. It’s a well trusted brand with great reputation. My computer very stable with this ram, boot time significantly less than before, all programs run instantly, all my heavy RAM consuming apps like Adobe software, VirtualBox works great with less crashing and no freeze. I'm very impressed and highly recommend it.

The memory kit arrived safely, and it comes nicely packed inside well illustrated, premium looking retail packaging. The modules look super high quality and are finished to a very high standard, I love the finish of the aluminium heat spreaders and the Vengeance logo. These definitely look like a premium bit of kit and would look great on display in customised case! Geared towards AMD Ryzen I chose to pair these with a Ryzen 9 5900X on a Gigabyte motherboard and they have been absolutely rock solid for the past month running in XMP mode. I’ve played a variety of new games including BF2042 and Forza Horizon 5 with them and even with the current state of these games I’ve still maintained high FPS and not had any crashes so far after about 120 hours combined playtime. Along with my NVME drive any application or game loads as quickly as possible and the computer just generally feels nice and snappy. The iCUE software has got considerably better over the last few years and I’m a big fan of the new GUI Corsair use. You can choose some really cool lighting effects to be displayed on your RAM and the 10-zone RGB lighting makes for some amazingly bright colour shows, not to mention it can be synced with all your other iCUE devices for maximum bragging rights! The temperatures can be viewed on the dashboard or even displayed on your Nexus Companion if you have one, and while playing games the temperatures always stayed under 50 degrees C in my Corsair 460X case. Overall, not only does this memory kit look great but it performs exceptionally well with rock solid stability, and it represents good value for money. A great choice for any mid to high range PC, you can’t go wrong with Corsair. It’s a product I’m happy to recommend and its feel its worth the full five stars, buy with confidence!

It arrived well packed. It comes with a 2x8GB DDR4. Great product made my pc so fast all. They look great and perform better. Really simple to install and I have had no issues with performance. It has been running very smoothly with AMD Ryzen 3600x. Overall, I really like them and they perform really well. Recommend it.

I purchased 4x8GB even though I could get 2x16GB for less but I wanted the aesthetic of 4 full slots and not running the risk of 2 sticks being single rank instead of dual rank. Running well so far on an MSI B450M Mortar Non-Max. I even managed to tighten up the timings to 16-21-21-42. tRFC is trash though at 528. I tried lower at 400 but it failed to boot. I used DRAM Calculator for 'safe' timings but it did not work. Maybe if I upped the voltage a bit more but tuning is time consuming for little gain. I get a result of 70ns latency. My throughput is a bit on the low side at 47GBps but it might improve once I upgrade the CPU in the next day or two (5800X3D). Going from 16Gb to 32GB Firefox feels snappier and happier too!

In a clear case gaming set up these look absolutely fantastic, the lighting modes are great in an already lit gaming room. Installation couldn’t be easier and no running issues. Would definitely recommend for aesthetics as well as functionality.

This memory kit looks insanely cool when used in conjunction with the Corsair RGB fans and CPU coolers you can get. You can sync them all together and create some amazing lighting effects. With this being Corsair RAM, you don’t need to worry about the quality or reliability of the RAM as it’s solid.
