Nice and Stable
A nice table. Surprisingly reasonable size. It seems quite sturdy and strong. Looks pretty nice. Easy to assemble. Quality is fine. My cats love it. It demonstrates the tensegrity concept quite well.

Wow!
I was fascinated with the concept of a table supported only by tensioned cables. Upon receipt, I was pleased to see that all the parts were packaged very nicely. The assembly proceeded well except that the inside of one threaded insert was slightly deformed which required me to use pliers whose jaws were cushioned with plastic tubing to prevent marring the exterior of the mating fitting. Other than that defect, I was pleased with the product.

Good, if it could be assembled.
The unit comes with 4 wires threaded at both ends. They need to be screwed into the 4 corners of the stand. One of the brass ends has no threads cut, and therefore cannot be screwed in position. 12/31/2021: Upgraded to 4 stars after a local handyman was able to cut the missing thread, enabling us to assemble the product, and offer it as the present it was meant to be.

Vintage brown is attractive, and table draws attention
I bought the Vintage Brown version for about $33, and I'm happy with it. I do wish that they'd make a smaller version because that would fit better were I want to put it, but I knew the dimensions before buying. It's a high-quality piece with nice finishes on the wood and metal pieces, and I didn't notice any blemishes or defects in mine. I work with engineers, and more than one has come by and tried to figure out how it works. The whole concept of tension tables like this is very cool, IMO. The instructions have you screw in the four wires at the corners and then the center wire, but when I did that, the center wire was about half an inch too short. However, when I unscrewed the corner wires and put in the center wire first, everything went together perfectly. I suspect that I just couldn't (or didn't) put enough tension on those corner wires to pry the panels far enough apart to get that center wire to reach. Either way, maybe put in the center wire first.

Mesmerizing
Bought it as a gift for someone, but I assembled it before giving to them. It is definitely tricky to assemble, but the result is nice. Not sure about using it for speaker stands though - I guess it would absorb vibration, but wouldn't trust putting more than 5 lbs on it (decent speakers are usually heavier than that).

Really poorly made
This thing is designed really badly. The base has these metal pieces that you're supposed screw the cables into. They dislodge really easy. There is nothing holding these things into the base other than friction. What did you think would happen when there is any amount of tension in the cables? Would've easily been a 5 star review if the cables were secured to the base in the same way that they are secured to the top. I'll try gluing them back in later I suppose

Eye-catching
Have this in my office to demonstrate "tensegrity"--my clients love it. I like the elegant functionality of a small table. (for a clock or light or a plant, etc)

It’s cool and gets attention
It was simple to assemble, but even after you assemble it… you still kinda scratch your head at how it works. It’s cool.
