Geo F. Trumper Coconut Oil Soft Shaving Cream 200 g cream

Been a fan of this brand for many years. The coconut cream lathers nicely and moisturizes well. The perfume is not overwhelming which is nice.

BOTTOM LINE: Worth every penny. Has ruined me for all others. Highly recommended.As a point of reference I've now tried Bigelow's Eucalyptus, AOS Unscented, TOBS Coconut, TOBS Sandalwood and various other cheaper options.PRICE: I was hesitant to make this price jump at first but 1) the quality is well worth the price and 2) a very little goes a long way, noticeably more so than the others mentioned above.SMELL: Note that this does NOT seem to be "coconut scented." You can smell the coconut oil in it but it is by no means overpowering. The scent is very subtle but i very much like it. Of all those tried it's the only one I find myself opening to smell at times other than shaving time. It has an earthy, vaguely christmasy smell to it.LATHER: As noted above, a little bit lathers very well with a brush and mug. The lather is a little denser than TOBS and AOS but feels much less dry than those two after sitting on the face for a bit.PERFORMANCE: Again stellar. Especially noticeable on the third pass. On my first use I was pleasantly surprised with every stage, from first open to application, but truly wowed on the third pass. Additionally, it left a smooth shave and a moisturized face. I find I don't bother with a pre-shave oil nor use as much aftershave/moisturizer since using this regularly.

This stuff is excellent. I've been a longtime user of Taylor of Old Bond Street creams and while Taylor still makes a great product, Trumper's Coconut is superior to anything I've tried from other companies.For starters, this cream has a fantastic texture; its consistency is thick and moist and it builds a lather quickly and without an excessive amount of effort. The coconut scent is strong, but not overpoweringly so, and it lends a pleasant, relaxing feel to your morning shave. The addition of the coconut oil is actually quite noticeable—my skin dries out relatively easily, and this cream moisturizes my skin and prevents dryness better than any other I've used before, including Taylor's Avocado, which was the previous winner in this category.As an added bonus over Taylor products, the tub in which the cream came was filled to the top, whereas the majority of the Taylor creams I've purchased in the past have been less than full. Couple that with the larger container size, and you've got a winner. If you're looking for a cream with a pleasant coconut scent and excellent moisturizing properties, this is it.

Easily the richest and best-lathering cream I've ever used, and I've tried most of the high-end expensive brands. Most creams start to dry out on your face after you apply them and this one is no exception, but it doesn't dry nearly as much and is still moist enough to not irritate. I think the formulation is different from other popular creams because this is the least irritating one I've ever used, and my skin is super-sensitive.Contrary to some reviews, creams definitely should lather up and this one does it in almost no time. A tiny amount gave enough that I could have done five passes if I wanted to.Really nice, light scent, and it fades after the final face rinse (which is what I wanted.) So mild though that I think you could put on your usual cologne/balm or whatever and it wouldn't interfere.My new daily shaving cream, with a Merkur Progress long handle adjustable and Shark blades.

Great smelling and feeling soap. Best lather ever, yet a tad dry compared to proraso soaps. I'm giving it 4 stars because it still is an amazing product, but Proraso is slightly better and costs much less. I just wish that they had the same variety as Trumpers.

Best… absolute best shave cream I’ve ever used. Great against razor burn and stays lathered and moist throughout shaving head and face. Been using for many years as Gilette can’t keep making the same product for more than a few months.

The most natural and well-defined coconut scented shave cream on the market. Nothing artificial. The coconut scent stays true to itself and isn't too subtle or overpowering. First class product with integrity. High quality! I love opening up the jar throughout the day just to smell that awesome natural coconut goodness! I wish Geo F. Trumper would make a coconut fragrance-spray to compliment my Creed Virgin Island Water. I simply apply before my shower. It rinses off easily and a breeze to apply and lather. It never clogs or builds up on my Mach 3 razor blade. I just wet my face with a warm washcloth and apply the cream with my fingers without any brush. No more nicks or cuts, and acts as a great conditioner for my sensitive skin. I've tried them all and consider myself to be super picky. This definitely is my favorite shave cream and worth the price! Highly recommended if you have sensitive skin and want an excellent shave. La crema in sé è ottima per la barba. Ne basta poca, monta subito, cremosa e morbida. Però il profumo è assente.

I have been using this cream for years and is a great smelling cream that has never caused me any skin issues like the can foams. I highly recommend this cream for any guy that has sensitive skin to perfumes or cheap creams.
