These games have skyrocketed to the top of my all-time favorites list. The collection is a great way to play them back-to-back, since the events of the first roll smoothly into the sequel. These games have a soul that is hard for video games to capture. The mechanics, visuals and score all combine for an amazing video game experience but this charming, simple and heartfelt story is what really stuck with me. With themes of sacrifice, redemption, friendship, selflessness, perseverance, and transcendence it got to me in a way no other interactive experience ever had. Cheers to the developers of this masterful and artistic game.
