If you are looking to sew lingerie, this is the book for you!!
This book is absolutely amazing! The instructions are very detailed and thorough, the pictures are beautiful and all of the patterns for each design mentioned are included in a pouch in the back of the book. The way the patterns are included is easy and convenient.I have been sewing lingerie for quite some time and have other lingerie sewing books, this one by far is my favorite!!!

My favorite sewing book in my library!
Absolutely love this book! This is the second book I've purchased. The patterns inside are awesome. I have sewed many of them. They are full sized. Just cut them out and sew!! Directions are clear and lots of pictures. You need some sewing skills for these patterns but basically pretty simple if you have a little bit of sewing experience. Enjoy. I really have.

great quality, wonderful pictures
great quality, wonderful pictures...even if you don't sew anything from the book, you will be glad to have such a beautiful book in your collection.I expected more patterns, but it's fine. Also I haven't tested them yet, if sizes suit measurememnts.There are several types of panties (shorts. briefs, thongs, high-waist), few bras, garter belts, camisoles and sleep shorts.

Yay! GREAT book expect for the names they give the garments!
I've been using this book for my sewing/design students to get a handle on lingerie. It is a really great little book and the patterns are trued up well and well marked.The language and vocabulary isn't in standard American English, so there are words here and there that aren't what you would expect if you are from the US, but whatevs. You have google.I think the only criticism I really have - the only bad thing about this book are the horrible, gross names the garments are given. You feel like you are being groomed by your weird Uncle. For serious. It always brings uncomfortable laughter to the class when the students working from it start reading them aloud. "Sugar Darlin' Sweetheart", "Whisper of Kisses", "Secret Promise", "Delicious at Dusk", and probably the worst: "Hush-a-Bye" all need to be a little less weird. Or maybe my classes need therapy. Either way.

Great for starters
Great for starters. Love how the explanations cover every possible aspect. I will be using it as a starting point for my own designs. Great read. Dynamic and lovely pictures!

Excellent instructions and information for sewing fine lingerie. I've been looking for instructions on creating lingerie at home and this little book is so much more than I could have imagined!

L'abc della lingerie
Ottimo per chi è agli inizi come me. Ti spiega tutto (anche i dettagli, come i fiocchetti) e ha anche le immagini per farti capire cosa devi fare e come. Ovviamente devi sapere un po' l'inglese, ma non è complesso.

Si haces tus propios patrones busca otro libro
Si tienes dudas de como son las tecnicas de costura que se utilizan en la corseteria este puede ser tu libro pero ten en cuenta que no veras sujetadores con aros por ningun sitio.Para el que haga las prendas con patrones preconcebidos (incluidos en el libro) puede estar bien pero para el que haga con patrones a medida no explica absolutamente nada. Para estos ultimos (como es mi caso) es infinitamente mejor el libro de Ann Haggar con la salvedad que este que indico solo es de patronaje, no de costura.

Your delicates made simple- Fantastic
This book is so beautifully presented and it's instructions for construction are easy to follow. The fact that each piece that is listed within the book has its own graded pattern included with instructions on how to lay it onto the fabric before cutting is great. What makes it even better is that you don't have to be a size 8 to make your own as they include sizes 8-18 along with actual cup sizes so you can cut your own size out and start sewing straight away. I love the way that the authors talk you through fabrications and sewing techniques. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to branch into learning how to make their own undies.
