I wanted to try cheaper alternative to Orthofeet. This pair is OK. The leather is cheaper, thinner, harder that say Orthofeet. The bottom sole has a shiny rim which makes the shoes look cheap also. While Orthofeet requires no break-in. This pair required a couple of weeks of breaking in before it felt OK.They also have removable inserts so you can use your own aftermarket ones. There is a layer of insert you can removed for a bit more extra room (ie "adjustable" width).Also, although it's listed as XW, it still fit a little bit small. It's probably more like 3E rather than 4E. I'd recommend order half a size bigger than normal if you really want this.

While the price of the shoe is good and the quality appears to be good, I have found the cushioning leaves something to be desired. After walking or standing for a couple of hours I find that the bottom of my feet are sore when wearing these shoes.
