Simple HousewareVacuum Sealer Bags 8'' x 50' Sous Vide Roll, 2-Pack

I purchase these rolls for use with my Food Saver model FM 3620. The price is much lower than the Food Saver brand rolls, so I was a bit skeptical. As it turn out these seem to be slightly thicker (better quality?) than the Food Saver Bags, and work just as good. Seal quickly and hold the seal well. The only problem is that the rolls are too big to fit my model's roll dispenser. Normally, the ones sold by Food Saver are 16' long. These are 25'. But I solved the problem easily. I unrolled about one-half (or close to one-half --- around 12') ) of the roll and rewound that unto an empty hub/spool that I had. So I end up with two rolls of 12' and 13' each respectively. Took less than a minute. Just have to remember to save my empty spool for the next large roll. (I supposed you could do the same without using an empty spool). I am just glad I didn't order 50' rolls as I had originally planned, lol. These may fit other Food Saver model's that have build in dispenser without having to split the roll ... just had to do it with my model.

These fit my smaller food saver perfectly. I was able to seal meats and veggies. They well for the price. They are easy to use. CANT BEAT THID DEAL !!

Work great and stand up to boiling for reheating.

No problems sealing the bags. Good price compared to the name brand. Looks very similar except no white strip to write on, but not a problem cause I use a Sharpie on the bag and it turns out fine. The only issue is that the roll does not fit in the sealer until you have made some bags and the roll gets smaller.

First let me say this review is a bit premature but my excitement from the first testing prompted me to write this. I use a F.S. (food saver) vacuum sealer and have usually used their bags and rolls and they are $$$What I've done so far1) Measured the thickness of material of the smooth side of both products using a micrometer and found the difference is in the 4th decimal place. That being said I found no difference in the thickness in the smooth side.2) Inspected the embossed side and found this product to have a more pronounced embossing compared to F.S. so it would measure thicker. I am assuming both sides of the bag are made from the same material the peaks and valleys from the embossing makes that side measure thicker3) Vacuum sealed some items and put them in the freezer. This products material quickly pulled a good strong vacuum and a solid seal telling me the material was of good qualityI will update this review after a couple weeks to see if the vacuum holds. Past experience taught me that even though the vacuum sealer worked well the manufactured seal on the sides and defects in the material can cause vacuum leaks over time. But so far so good I am more than pleased with this productUpdate: It's been a week since the test to evaluate vacuum holding and I am pleased to say the bags are as tightly sealed as the day I put them in the freezer. I can highly recommend this product with confidence

I was leery about ordering these sealer bags, thinking they might not be the greatest quality. I'm so glad I took a chance, though, as these are as good as the original manufacturer's brand that came with my vacuum sealer unit (and about half the price of their replacement bags). They lack a label to write on, but that doesn't matter to me. Some reviewers don't like that the rolls are so big they won't fit in the machine (for storage) but you can spool it out and cut smaller rolls of your own that would fit. Definitely recommended!!! 10 stars!

These seem to be a great value. I have only used it twice as the machine came with bags so I used them first. I do like these plastic tubes, I can make a bag any size I want.

I have ordered and used them many times. Always worked perfectly, even in my sixteen year old Food saver!!

Started using the 8" large roll and seals well. I use sealer bags constantly for the freezer. Very satisfied. The previous bags I had had a space where one could identify the contents and dates, but this type does not have it. I use a marker on the slick side edge and it does the job. Worth the price compared to the Foodsaver ones. Will buy again again for sure. Obviously the rolls are too big for the sealer, but it's easy to just cut what you need, that or put half onto another roll. Just use your smarts. Delivery was A1.

Have used this product for a couple years and am happy with its quality and durability in the freezer.
