Um... it was not that I hoped
Hey, I know costumes are costumes and this one is certainly not top of the line, but it's really a POC (and by C I mean QR" ") because the back has one tie on it. So you put on the suit and the 2" slit up your back is closed by a tie at your neck... really? People do see you from behind! Even one more tie midway would make this better. That said, if you're particular like me (I don't think Amazon will let me post a review with the correct word starting with A and ending with L on their site) buy a few safety pins and you'll be good. Oh, and if you use it more than you should to scare friends or random folks on the street, stuff the mask with newspaper (oh wait, who has that anymore)... with Amazon packing paper to help keep its form.

Great costume and price.
It fits fine. It looks good. I'm just over 6 feet... The hands and feet look really good. I surprised a few friends. It will keep you warm in the winter. Really hot in warm weather. Not designed to run in, I tried.

Oh Your FURRY Monster you!
OH MY WORD! This costume is hilarious! It fit my husband perfectly he is 5'10" and 220lbs. If you were any taller I would highly recommend the plus size. The back I would place a couple buttons to hold it shut as it seems that would be a great add on which I will be doing for it. There is only 1 tie on at nape of the neck. Even though the feet are separated it would be nice to have them attached to the costume however it is a snug fit on the feet if you put shoes in there (that is if you wanted to have it be comfortable walking around). No big deal on that. The facemask was a bit smooshed from the packaging however placing a volleyball in the mask helps stretch it out to get the face to look a bit better and not as distorted. Another suggestion is when you get the full costume out & place it on a hanger and take a large brush and fluff up the fur. Be careful as you may have some shedding from the loose fur.We can't wait to head to the Halloween party with this costume. Even to take it out in the woods to run in front of our friends & families trail cameras and freak them out!!!!

Cheaply made but OK
For the price, this seemed a bit cheaply made and there is only one tie in the front (at the neck), and then only on one side! We will probably need to keep this closed with multiple safety pins. I am no seamstress so it's not like I can drop in a zipper or buttons or something to keep this closed. However, it seems like, with the addition of a few pins, it will work out all right.

Decent costume, with a smirk face, not a scary face.
This works for the purpose but they did not send the same costume as the one pictured. We wanted a scary looking one for a video. .A little hard to breathe with mask on over long period of time.... and the back does not have velcro, so it opens up and shows your shirt underneath which make it look inauthentic. Not the best quality and says “Do not aching wash”.

Needs a Few Alterations To Really Work
This is an okay Bigfoot costume for the price but it needed some alteration. I am 6' 1" and weigh 180 pounds. The leg length was short by about 4 inches. Material is cheap. It would have cost the manufacturer next to nothing to simply make the legs too long and let us, the buyer, cut off the excess material to fit. But instead, I had to go looking for some fur at a fabric store to try to add some to this costume. I couldn't find the exact fur but I found some that was very close. No one said they could tell the difference. We added several inches to the bottom of each leg. Also I made a "neck gator" of sorts to go around the neck where parts of neck and shirt underneath were showing. We also added a strip of velcro up the back of the enclosure and got rid of those worthless shoelace ties. With these alterations, I am totally covered with costume except for my eyes. I probably spent an additonal $20 on it--money well spent. I've had nothing but positive comments about it.

Wv. Camping prank :)
I picked this up to play a little prank on some friends while camping out in WV.This costume did the trick!!! I'm pretty sure we'll be talking about this for the rest of our lives!Simple 2 day shipping arrived on time. I'm not very tall... I'm 5'8" 165lbs. The costume fit me... you shouldn't have any problems unless you're 6'4" and all legs... there's not a heck of a lot of room left in the crotch area... I wear a 34/32 just to give you an idea. This costume is well worth the purchase price. Thank you California Costumes for a great laugh!

Overall not a bad buy
Phrchased this because Bigfoot has become sort of a mascot for our business and I wanted to have it for attention at a trade show. The costume fit well on my small 5'7 frame and would of also fit a taller person. The feet are large I wear a size 7 shoe so I recommend stuffing some newspaper in the toes. The costume sheds a little but I didn't notice missing hunks on the costume itself. The mask gets a little moist inside after wearing g for awhile. The k my reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because the back of it is open and ties at the top. It would be better if it zipper or celcro closed. I also get my 10 year old nephew wear it and he reminded me of a mini Alf. He is wearing it in the photo.
