I am using this for a Glycine/NAC supplement. I love that the Glycine can be used to sweeten my smoothies. It works well, although the small spoon that is supposed to be 1,000 mg, seems a little small. It should weigh 1 gram, but it seems to be a little less than that. But it is definitely more cost effective, than capsules or tablets.

I had previously purchased another brand that was a huge bulk amount for cheap. It had a chemical smell and taste that left me feeling uneasy abot using it........I threw it out. This seems to be a good choice for the money.

Have read the negative reviews after perchasing. Was concerned. I also know ho some ch brands promote their 5 star reviews, was even more concerned.Tasted it as package arrived - i recall the taste of glycine from my childhood. Powder looks consistent. Looks like sugar but has a little aftertaste like a fructose.Glycine back then was coming in sublingual pills, because it can irritate stomack. So, maybe it is a better idea to let it be absorbed under a tongue.I also perchased NOW company and will compare.If i get any negative not glycine related sides i will update this review. If not updated then, at least, the batch is good as of june 2023 and NOW company tastes the same.Btw, the bag is as on the picture, but the sticker looks different, has all the info in the front. So, if it will turn out to taste the same as NOW and is not a fructose and hopefully not something worse , coz they know how to fake taste nowadays, then bag lable should not be a concer either, i will not post updates.

i know i don't get enough protein and with the new research information on glycine benefits, this is an excellent purchase to assist in your ageing health. i add it to a little water with a squirt of water flavoring and it's great, easy and good tasting. there is no bad taste that i can detect. i takes a little time and stirring until it dissolves completely, but just a little. i am going to enjoy this supplement and looking forward to the benefits shown in the research.

This product was pure white powder when I first got it. After I stopped taking supplements for a few months, when I reopened my package of glycine, it had A LOT of black specks everywhere! This package was sealed tight! All Micro Ingredients bags have a great seal quality.I contacted Micro Ingredients and they were kind enough to send a replacement however I never received it.They provided a tracking number showing it was delivered after I emailed them about not having received it. I have no way of proving I didn’t receive the replacement so I’m going to have to count this as a total loss.It’s unfortunate I paid almost $40 for this.UPDATE: A customer service rep reached out through Amazon and sent me another replacement! The glycine is pure white (for now) so I’ve upgraded my review to 3 stars. If it remains pure white until I’ve finished it all, I’ll update this review again :) (01/19/24)UPDATE 2: still no black specks after 3 months so I’m upgrading it to 4 stars. The bag seal has detached from the bag, unfortunately so I will update once more when I’m done with the full bag. (4/24/24)

This is the 4th time ordering this product. Using it for myself and our horses. Seems to help with our issues.
