Tim Holtz - Sizzix 664735 SIZZIX THINLITS DIE Haunted

This die has so many possibilities in setting different moods depending on the color choices and background. I was first intimidated by the little pieces but with the right type of glue/glue dispenser, it made putting things together quite easy. I had blue stencil sheets to give the windows a look of glass. The most difficult part of the making of the card was matching the background to complement the house.

Very nice and detailed die of the house. Just large enough for a Halloween sene on a card. Works well in my Big Shot. Tim Holtz dies are ready to use. The dies do not need to be separated and rough edges filed as other brands do. The dies come with a sturdy envelope for storage. Arrived on time and in good condition.

I really enjoyed using this die. It is high quality and easy to use. The only thing I had an issue with was the number of small accent pieces. I reduced the number of pieces I used in the accents to the shutters, the shingles, the door accents and the porch framing. This reduced number made working on 12 cards less time consuming, yet lent enough details to really make the house interesting. I also printed images of Frankenstein's monster and a witch onto card stock to showcase behind the windows as the window trims are cut out. A fun set of dies.

Tim Holtz thinlits dies are always top quality and work perfectly. I have several. Quite often am disappointed by the quality and lack of clean cutting by other brands. There ARE other good ones out there, but Tim Holtz products, in my opinion, are the absolute best and most dependable.
