Maitre Jacques Vinegar, Fr. Tarsprig, 16.90-Ounce (Pack of 6)

I've been a huge fan of Maitre Jacques Champagne Vinegar for years, but when my last case ran out, I discovered that the company no longer offers it. So while searching for a substitute, I came upon this, and, since it wasn't available back then, I clicked "Notify Me" in the hopes that Amazon would get more. On Tuesday, I received an email saying that it was available, and immediately ordered this case of 6 for a fair price of $20.94.The order arrived the next day, yesterday, but I knew instantly that the box was too small to contain 6 bottles. There was only one in the box! I contacted Amazon and a refund was processed (thanks Amazon!) BECAUSE, there's none left to reorder from (there were 6 cases when I placed my order)! So, once again, I'm on the "Notify Me" list. But these went super fast because this vinegar is that good.Tarragon is one of my most favorite herbs, with the light licorice taste that enhances things like bernaise sauce. I wasn't sure if it would be so great on salad, but I trusted the Maitre Jacques brand. And it's delicious on salad and chicken salad: the licorice scent is very present when you open the bottle, but the licorice taste is light and subtle. It's now my favorite vinegar.If you eat a lot of salad, you don't EVER use bottled dressings (only fresh on fresh!), and you're really picky about your EVOO and Vinegar, you'll love this product. I just hope that Amazon gets more soon!

Best tarragon vinegar for my wife's chicken salad. Everyone always wonders why their chicken salad doesn't taste as good.

Adds great flavor to any dish where vinegar is used. My local store does not carry it anymore. I decided to get it here because it is so much more enjoyable than the brands in my local store. The product was shipped in a way that there was no possibility of breakage.
