Bought it to hide some tiny holes in my ceiling due to pre-existing home networking cabling system. I would say it does the job and came with everything needed to hide those tiny holes mentioned. Price is great too!

Does a good job covering an octagon receptacle. Keep in mind the screws in this plate do not align to the receptacle. You will need the adapter that often comes with light fixtures. Screw that adapter to the receptacle, then screw this cover plate to that adapter.
