Definitely worth the $9 as an add-on item. The strainer works great, and it keeps tea hot for a decent length of time. The strainer works really well and is a 2 piece basket design which is really easy to clean, but filters out the smallest particulates and keeps everything isolated.My one qualm with this product is the cap. Upon first use, I screwed the cap on after filling it with hot water. The heat inside the bottle made the plastic inner-cap expand causing the bamboo outer portion to crack on both sides. (This was literally the first use.)Overall, if your in need of/or would like to try something like this, for $9 you cant go wrong. However, you can definitely find higher quality stuff out there

Yea, of course it could be of higher quality, but for the price I have no complaints. I love that I can drink the tea with the infuser still inside the container. This is actually a rarity for the glass infusers on amazon. I accidentally bought a different brand and there's no lid to the infuser to inclose the tea. This means you'd have to remove the infuser before enjoying.Some have said that the "wood" lid breaks with the first use. I've used mine about hundred times without an issue. My suggestion is to allow the tea to cool a bit before placing the lid on. If you pour the boiling water in the glass and immediately add the lid, you'll create a lot of pressure.I will be definitely buying at least one or two more.

The inside of the lid is PLASTIC, unlike the description for this item that says it has "a full silicone sleeve that seals the bottle without plastic touching the water"

Keeps tea hot, very cool container, but the strainer basket could be designed better. The handle pulls off easily when you try to remove the basket. For the price, it is still worth it.

Extremely disappointed in this product .. I know that by the price I shouldn't have expected much however when I received the product the lid was already tearing up. As if I tugged on it the top part could come apart . I was extremely upset to see this because this was suppose to be a graduation gift to one of my friends but based off the condition I couldn't give it to her .

Love this!! The teapot and teas are mine.. but this is the best thing ever! I love tea and I've tried several ways of having the best and healthiest tea and this is great when you want to take it TO GO! I've tried the bags, tea pot with filter, mate, and this is my fav ! Very satisfied

Extremely upset. I was looking forward to giving this to my friend for her birthday. The package arrived in amazing time, but to my displeasure when I opened the package the inside glass tube was broken.

Works great. Don't be an idiot (like me) and put the loose leaves on top of the smaller basket-- they get everywhere. Next time, INSIDE the bigger bottom basket! Solid product! Mucho gusto!
