JDM ASTARSuper Bright AX-2835 Chipsets 7440 7441 7443 7444 992 LED Bulbs,Xenon White (Only used for backup reverse lights)

Purchased for a 2013 Cevrolet Tahoe LT 4x4. Packaging is simple, a small baggy with the brand printed on the front. Lights are not marked for polarity, so when installing I would put the LED in, press unlock from your key fob, and it should come on. If not, remove and reinstall in opposite direction. Once the light comes on, reinstall and mount lights back on. Lights are by far brighter than the halogens. Adds a nice “pop” to the look and lights up awesome for viewing with the backup camera and with darker tint windows. I was told for some reason the cruise control no longer works (at night specifically) because now that less power is drawn due to the LED, the signal shows that your brake pedal is engaged, therefore not allowing the Cruise Control to work. I have not tried this yet, but I am not too worried about it at the moment. All in all for the cost and ease of installation, I am satisfied. Only been on one week, we shall see how long they last.

FAILVery very bright, but a total FAIL. If a bulb burn down, it will melt your tail light assembly, and cost a lot to replace. FAILI wish I had a way to measure light output. That's next time.

I have bought LEDs from JDM ASTAR for my Liscense Plate and til thid day they are still working great and bright.I Bought these for my 98 4runner to use as my reverse lights upon getting the product deleiverd to my house i was excited and installed them right away once i tested them they didnt work so i flipped them around same thing did not work and i turned off my truck and turned it back on my cluster would not work so i flipped out thinking it was the lights i was getting to contact JDM Astar and return them but turns out i had a blown 10 amp fuse that is for guage on the fuse box so i changed it and the LEDs worked fine so far a week with them on and no problems overall i enjoy these LEDs they give Light when backing up at night i would recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade thier veichles reverse lights.

These lights are VERY BRIGHT! I have them installed on a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS as the reverse lights. They are a huge improvement over stock and I regret not purchasing them sooner! They plugged in just as easily as any OEM light. If you have a hard time seeing when backing up I highly recommend buying these. It is a $17 investment that could save you from backing up into something and ruining your bumper! They obviously also make you easier to see when in reverse so other cars can spot you much sooner than later. I can't comment on the bulb life because I just installed them today but they seem of high quality. Just a tip, use latex gloves or something alike when installing them because your finger oil on the light surface can severely decrease the life of a bulb, or so I've been told. Better safe than sorry!

Only problem is that it sets off my ATTS gauge light on my 2000 Prelude SH after half a mile of driving. I'm guessing this is a rare occurrence, and is because of the complicated system in the SH model. Wouldn't happen in a base Prelude because there is no ATTS light to go on.Other than that they were great while I had them in, very bright while in use and had a cool 1-2% glow when not in use which looked pretty sweet in the dark. Bummed I had to remove them because of the gauge light.

For me these were just "ok" I was looking for something with more of a bright white and these had way to much of a blue tint to them. If you were using these in a place where you dont have to directly look at the led diodes that would probably be a better choice because the light would be more diffused and not look so blue but for me i was trying to use them in my overhead light and the bright white / blue hue just drove me crazy. They did seem well built though.

No issues installing, they fit just the way they're supposed to. All I can say is these bulbs were even BRIGHTER than the previous LED bulbs I had in there! I bought these to replace my old bulbs that had dead LED's on them. I never even realized that the old bulbs had a slightly blue tint on them, these bulbs are PURE white and are about 2x brighter than the old LED's! My first purchase from this company were the interior LED bulbs and after seeing how those bulbs, and now these reverse bulbs, shine so bright, I would highly recommend this company, over any competitor, looking to upgrade their lights!I plan to buy ONLY from JDM ASTAR, your products have earned my loyalty!
