Fantastic book on a very famous 917

Fantastic book on a very famous 917. Every detail, every driver of the first Le Mans winning Porsche. Great format, excellent quality & outstanding photos. A lot of the background history of the model, make and times will not be new to most 917 fans, but if you love the car you will love this "Autobiography" (not Sutobiography as the listing misspells!)

Thoroughly enjoyable

Well written, wonderful photographs, an obviously exhaustive level of research resulting in a thoroughly enjoyable book. Kudos to the author, Ian Wagstaff, for a masterful telling of the story of 917-023, the first Porsche to be the overall winner of LeMans. It quickly has become my favorite Porsche book.
