Hearts for Hearts Girls Dell from USA Doll

Shamefully I have to admit that I'm an American Girl and Wellie Wisher addict. During the past few years I wouldn't even give another doll brand a second look being convinced that American Girls were the best. Because I make and sell doll clothes for fun, I wanted to be sure my Wellie Wisher clothes would fit similarly-sized dolls. After combing the internet, I came across these Hearts for Hearts Girls. I ordered Dell and received her today. Quite frankly, I am blown away by her beauty. Her hair was kinked due to the way she was packaged, so I took a chance on setting my curling iron to the lowest setting to get the creases out of her hair and it turned out beautifully. In my attached photo, I have her standing next to AG's Willa and as you can see, she is just as beautiful as Willa (if not a little prettier in my opinion). Her hair is rooted and can look a little sparse if not styled right, but since I've noticed a huge decline in the quality of the AG hair with my last few purchases, I won't knock off points for that. In fact, as I compare these two dolls, I can see no justification for the Wellie Wisher dolls costing between 40 and 50 percent more than this doll. I love this doll so much that I've already ordered another Hearts for Hearts Girl (Rahel). I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Very pretty doll. Really wirth the cost. I think they are even better than AG. Only slight critique: the hair is a bit lighter and you can see the roots and scalp when hair is open. But not visible when in a pony tail.

The attention to detail is amazing in the H4H dolls. I'm really happy with the quality. Besides all that, she is beautiful, and her hair is just lovely. I bought this as a grandmother, thinking I would give this to my granddaughter someday. But I never had a doll as nice as this, so I may "play" awhile...and perhaps learn to make doll clothes. :)

Finally I got my Dell doll back. My first Dell was purchased in 2010 and I did give her away few years ago. I'm glad to have her back. She is well made, soft hair, beautiful make up; I'm totally in love with her.

Daughter just received her Dell doll for Christmas, and she loves it, except her doll came with two right foot shoes. Not sure how it made it through quality control like this.

This doll is gorgeous! Every detail down to her perfectly freckled cheeks is beautiful. I bought her because she looks like my daughter but also y doll you buy they send one to a child in need. Won’t buy a American girl doll again after seeing these dolls. So worth the money!!

I bought this doll to donate to a charity along with clothing I am making. The doll is cute, but her head is very large in proportion to her body. Patterns for Wellie Wishers are too large in the area of the torso and have to be adapted. If the Stitchin' for Kids Organization used an 18 inch doll, sleeves and armholes would be a whole lot easier.
