Works well at sealing knots and reducing shedding.

I know the maker of Top-Loc says this product does not work of weave wefts. But, they need to get to know their products a lot better. Like many, the biggest issue i have with weave is the shedding. It drives me nuts, and the hair doesn't last as long. Usually I can only get four installs from my wefts, and I buy really good hair from Mayvenn. However, since I have been using Top-Loc Knot Sealer, the shedding is all but history. I am now on my 8th install with the same wefts, and they look great. If I were you I would definitely get this product and use it on your wefts before install. Instead of spraying it on, I use an eye shadow brush, and paint it on both sides of the weft. Heres what I do, and mind you I do this for each install, even if I have already done it to the same wefts in the past. I first gently wash and condition the wefts. Once they are fully dry, I do 3 coats of the Top-Loc. I do this a couple days before my reinstall. I have 2 sets of hair, so I don't have to worry about going a couple days without my hair in.

I saw bad reviews on this. It doesn’t completely stop shedding, however it did make my wig last over a month. I will buy again.Someone commented about the pump and they heard you because it does cause the liquid come out in a stream and gets stuck, but if you keep using it readjusts. Thank you.

*update* Product doesn't work even when transferred to another spray bottle. Still clogs after a couple uses and the system I used it on consistently actually lasted less time and had more hair loss then the ones I had before using this product. Total ripoff.I can't really judge whether this product actually works as the spray bottle doesn't work as others mentioned. After 3 or 4 uses the bottle won't spray and seems jammed even after cleaning it with water. Now I can't use the rest of the product. Really embarrassing engineering fail, how do you overlook the fact that the product clogs the spray nozzle!?

Love, love, love this excellent product! Thank god I started using it probably 6 months ago! The only problem with this product is people don't know how to use it! It must be shaken VERY well before each use and one must press firmly on the spray nozzle to get an even fluent spay, then spray your lace unit evenly. Every time a unit is washed it should be well sprayed (paying special attention to the hair line!) and allowed to dry either by air or with a blow dryer. If this is done and the product is applied properly I promise your lace units will last you 1000% longer, thank you god🙏🏽Lol!

I wear A TON of wigs and I bought this product in the hopes that it would be the answer to my shedding problem and overall hair maintenance...I tried this product on a month old full lace wig that was shedding excessively and I got NO results. Pretty upsetting considering how expensive the unit was and how the product did nothing to change it.I then purchased a new 360 wig and sprayed this on the lace areas only. For the most part, I experienced minimum shedding on the second wig. I would spray two layers after each wash, which is about every 7-10 days. (a clean wig is a happy wig!). This wig was purchased for my summer travel in Mexico and Las Vegas and I'm really happy with the way it held up.The spray bottle itself was messed up. The hole was not spraying mist, but a concentrated stream. I had to switch it to a small spray bottle of my own. I've used up most of this product and don't have much left.My bottom line: there's only 2 knot sealers to choose from on Amazon. Pick one, they're both mediocre. Some prefer to use Got2Be hairspray and that seems to make more sense to me than this alcohol based spray. I say, this product could work, but you would need to apply it often. Meh.

Great to stop shedding. I use this product on a curly wig to reduce the amount of shedding. I applied the product to a brand new wig and there was literally no shedding at all. However after I washed the wig I did not reapply the products and there was definitely shedding. I would definitely say spray very liberally on the inside of your wig and let it dry before applying. The product does not have a strong odor, and I could not smell the product after it dried.
