This beautiful Yellow Quartz Slice was hand picked out of a box of other slices. I fell in love with the color, it looked to me like it was the sun itself! Matching this Agate up with Swarovski Crystals and LOTS of seed beads. Throughout working on it I was always thinking of SUNSHINE! Elidi [eli-di] as a girls' name is of Greek origin, and the meaning of Elidi is "gift of the sun Associated with: greek, gift, sun (star). This necklace took over 34 hours to complete. I used peyote and herringbone stitch to complete it. The center is made without the use of GLUE or BACKING. The center sets inside beads that are between 11o and 15o (this means there are between 11 - 15 beads per inch). Necklace measures at 17.5 - 19 inches in length and can be lengthened if needed. Center hangs down 2.5 inches from top of strap.
