Does this game come in taller than 10 inches

I don’t think it does, but I only purchased it and didn’t have anything to do with the construction. My grandchildren do enjoy it.

How time consuming (and annoying) is it to set the game up each time, compared to the amount of time to play the game?

As with any stacking tower game there is inherently time required to restack when it is knocked over. The game is certainly shorter in play when compared to a game like Jenga hence you may restack more often but restacking only takes a minute. Alternatively if you look at it from a teaching point of view (assuming you are playing with little children), restacking each level can be a little game in itself having the children search for and place only one of each colour on each level (getting them to do this will take longer than a minute though). Definitely gives them a sense of accomplishment when they’ve helped build it too (been playing this game with 3 and 4 year olds).

Are the colors painted do they rub off?

No, we’ve had no issue with the paint rubbing off. Very happy with game quality.
