Fantastic planner
I just got this 2019 weekly/monthly planner yesterday and I'm already very pleased. Digital calendars and to-do lists just weren't cutting it anymore, especially with a growing family and two working parents, and it seemed high time to go back to basics with a paper planner. There is an overwhelming variety of planners on the market and I did a lot of research before choosing this one, and so far it seems perfect for my needs. As others have noted, the quality of both the paper and the cover is very good. It feels like it should cost more than it does. It also looks very nice: it's elegant in an understated way. I personally can't stand all those froofy planners exploding with flowers and colors. Part of the reason I need a paper planner is to try and organize some of the chaos in my life, and I don't need a planner's over-busy appearance adding to that. At the same time, the color and the gold font on the cover make this a little nicer to look at compared to the basic black business-y planners. Just as the outside cover is minimal, this planner's pages contain all I need: weekly and monthly calendars and the space to write everything down. I find that I much prefer this basic layout to that in planners containing tons of daily prompts, as it'll let me organize my information however which way I want it. The two ribbon bookmarks are a thoughtful feature. It does come with monthly tab stickers that you can add yourself, but I don't find those necessary. Two of my main criteria for a planner were that it had to have a pen holder and at least one pocket for holding loose papers. This one has both those features. I like that the back pocket is accordion-style and can easily expand to hold more small papers when I need it to. At first, I was uncertain about all the notepaper in the back, but now this is one of my favorite features that I didn't even know I needed/wanted. I am already using it to write down my 2019 goals, organize my personal projects that have been swimming around in my head, and create grocery lists. Yes, this makes the planner a bit heavier and larger than others out there. But all that paper means I will likely never run out of space during the year, and I won't have to clutter up my purse with both a planner and a notebook. Highly recommended.

Excellent quality and value.
Perfect size and contents. Clear writing. Quality paper. 3rd time I am buying this item. Attractive as well. Stretch band and 2 ribbons to keep sections separate.

Great quality and smart design
I’m impressed with the sturdy binding — the planner lays completely flat, which makes writing so much easier. The pen holder placement is equally clever because it keeps the pen secure and straight, no more twisting or sliding. Between the monthly/weekly layouts, stickers, inner pocket, and extra notes pages, this planner checks every box.

I found my perfect planner!
First of all I am very VERY particular about my planners. My husband hates how long I spend picking one out. But I LOVE this planner. It has enough room for me to write in the month calendar and plenty of space in the weekly sections as well. It's has a beautiful minimalist design and very sturdy. I love the look of it! And I especially love the pen holder on the outside along the seem. Previous planners I have purchased had a pen holder on the inside or poorly made pen holders that broke quickly. I've been using mine for over a month now and have now problems. The blank pages in the back are very nice as well; very convenient for meetings. There's even a map in the back with time zones. As a military family member it's actually very convenient to have a quick resource like this. My only con is the stickers that came with. They aren't designed to stick out as tabs and I couldn't find a place to put them without covering up spaces I intend to use. But they really aren't vital so had no influence over my purchase so I didn't remove any stars. Oh I almost forgot I also love that it comes with two bookmark ribbons attached and an elastic strap. This planner seriously has everything I want in my planners and I am thoroughly pleased. My husband is too because we won't be spending an hour in front of the planners at Target and Hobby Lobby this year or in the years to come.

First Impressions: Not Bad, Not Great, Simple
I intend to use this as a college planner and it appears it will fill that role well. I have yet to use this for any real amount of time, therefore I will write this review as more of a "first impressions". 1) Looks nice. It is fake leather, and at this price point that is very reasonable and to be expected. Spine is grey and the book itself is a light brownish color. It looks nice without being gaudy. Perfect for either males, females, or attack helicopters. 2) Simple layout. No extra useless garbage. The calendar month is shown first, then each individual day gets a third of the page, except for Saturday and Sunday, which are shared on one line making it a sixth of a page each day. 3) About 40% of the book are blank, lined pages, at the back. 4) The first page is attached funny to the book, it's glued to the inside cover page. 5) The list of holidays are nice, but too many minor or religious holidays. Holidays like Flag Day, Grandparent's Day, Patriot Day just clutter the calendar. And there is no need to add new age holidays like Kwanzaa that nobody celebrates. 6) The worst part of the book is the quality of the pages. They are very cheap yellow paper, not white. The pages look like they sat out in the sun for a year. They are still usable, just low quality. They are of a reasonable thickness though. 7) Personally, I see no need for the cheap sticky month tags it comes with.

Nicely Made
I bought this originally for my husband who has a difficult time keeping track of things like due dates for bills, dental appointments and pretty much anything. Unfortunatly when it arrived I didn't realize it was larger than what he wanted to carry around with him. I was going to send this 2019 planner back but after I had looked at it I decided to keep it for myself.. I will say it seems very well made, lots of room to write things in and has both calendar section and journal pages. A quick reference page right at the front, a yearly overview, Holiday date info for 3 years. Contacts page and in the back a nice accordian pouch with page stickers for easy flipping to the months that you can affix. And if you are giving this a a gift for Christmas there is a nice card with envelope that you can use for the giftee. But! what marks this as being upper quality, is, there are 2 attached woven ribbon book marks AND the cut ends of the ribbon have been HEAT sealed !! I have a peeve against ribbon that frays, you know the kind that has that loose end that you pull and it just keeps unraveling.. I was quite impressed that they went to the trouble of keeping that from happening! I don't usually use a planner/journal I am more of a notebook, and scribble reminders on backs of bill envelopes kind of person. But I'm glad my husband thought this was too large for him to pack around because I'm keeping it and here's to hoping I will be more organized in 2019 with a very good looking and well made 2019 Planner. Oh and the cream color of the pages is very nice, it's easy on the eyes more so than stark white paper. Impressed.

Really Attractive and Seemingly Durable Planner!
My yearly planners are my brain and I depend on them heavily. I even catalog planners from past years to refer back to! This one appears to be the best so far! The cover is very nice and the book as a whole seems very sturdy. If it is as durable as it seems, I will be seeking out another one in 2021. I would have liked for the Month tabs to have been permanently placed, but I realize that not everyone likes them or wants them in the same place. I respect that making them optional stickers makes the book more versatile and appealing to a wider range of consumers. I like that the book has two different (different colors too) place-marking ribbons and I LOVE that it has the elastic band to hold the book closed when I'm throwing it into a bag or something. Take note that about half of this book is lined pages for note-taking too! My only disappointment was that my R-2 Rollerball o.7 mm colored ink pens did bleed through; however, they did not transpose to the opposite facing pages when I closed the book on fresh ink, so I was pleased with that. In the photos: The style of bleeding pen is pictured in the pen-holder (I have a few different colors). The brown ribbon marks the beginning of the calendar pages, and the grey ribbon marks the beginning of the lined note pages. One image shows the lined note pages. The open calendar pages show the degree of bleed through and the month sticker/page tab.

Best Calendar EVER
I have just ordered my third consecutive calendar from this site. I love keeping schedules and notes in hard copy, and this calendar has the ideal set up for my needs. I especially like the 80 pages or so of lined paper included towards the back of the book, which I use for notes on special projects or trips. The space allotted for each day is enough to get all tasks down, even for my timekeeping entries. I use the pocket on the inside back flap to store receipts until I can file them, etc. I often need to check back on events from the past year, and everything is easy to look up again in the previous volumes. The binding is attractive and professional, and the size so convenient it fits in my purse. Am a super fan. In the past decades, I had bought Moleskin and other brand calendars, but this is my favorite of all.
