When my old hedge trimmer packed in I assumed that a new one would be very expensive, so I was pleasantly pleased to find this model for around £70.It has a powerful motor, so It cuts through anything that you would reasonably expect it to.The cable is reasonably long too.I saw one review complaining that it was heavy!I have no idea what the reviewer has used before, but I find this trimmer to be relatively light weight and easy to use - after a couple of hour's use I was still good to go.One feature that needs pointing out is the rear handle - it can twist through 180 degrees and lock into place. This means that it is relatively easy to cut hedges on either side, on top or underneath, irrespective of where you choose to stand or whether you are right or left handed.Highly recommended!

This is a great hedge trimmer, not too heavy, nice long cutting blade and a long wire. Very happy for saying how much it cost

This replaces a dated Bosch cordless trimmer along with a 10 year old hedge-cutting pole. The package came ready assembled from the manufacturer and was very well taped. (It took over 10 minutes to open the box!). I tested it quickly today and it cut through the neighbour's overhanging vines and creepers with ease. I didn't think it was very heavy, but for me it is noisy (I have ASD, so my hearing is very sensitive). I liked the angled handle option which allows it to be rotated through 90 degrees to enable easier cutting - especially on long stretches or awkward parts of the hedge. The cable is orange so easily visible and offers a decent range at 10m long. One point to mention is there does seem to be slight over-run unless both handles are released together.

Tired of battery operated hedge trimmers getting stuck or burning out so I bought this.Very powerful and because of that very fast. Chomped through my bamboo hedge and other shrubs very quickly saving me a huge amount of time. Not going back to battery operated tools for sure .This was a great price too. Very sharp and I highly recommend it.

Very heavy compaired to our 20+ year old black and decker. Isnt that much better even though it has wider cut and a lot more powerful. Worst experience was next day deliver which once ordered was put back 2-3 weeks but still being advertised next day delivery?? I couldnt cancel even though it obviously hadnt been dispatched as we were on holiday when it would have arrived. After a massive effort i managed to get someone on the phone who after a bit of persuading that he would get it delivered next day(which he did) but we didnt want the original one delivered. On holiday we received a photo showing it was delivered so i phoned a neighbour who took it round to her house till we got home. We drove to the nearest village(5)miles away to send it back and guess what? Yes youre right it was delivered back to us again. I contacted them and told them to send a courier to pick up as i wasnt going to send it same as last time. Heres hoping🫰

Easy to use and light to use

Returned as absolutely useless. Ended up borrowing a neighbours Tesco branded one. Which did the job in three times the time it would have taken with this one.
