Perfect drop-in replacement
This is a solidly built sump pump that keeps my basement dry. I actually bought this item as a drop-in replacement for the same model Zoeller pump, which lasted about 20 years in my house. After all that time, the thing that finally broke on the old one is the float switch, which would get stuck and not activate properly at the beginning of the season, until it loosened up. Fortunately I have had a sump alarm for a while now, but I didn't need the additional stress in case I missed it, so I finally replaced the pump. The hardest part of installing it was unscrewing the output pipe from the old pump, for which I had to run out to the store and get a proper PVC wrench. After that, I screwed the pipe into the new pump, dropped it into the hole, and hooked it up to the check valve. It has been working well so far, and although it's not the cheapest pump, it will be a very good value if it lasts another 20 years.

the only sump pump to get!
Zoeller is the top of the line go to unit for sump pump installations. The heavy build and reliable operation is second to none. I would not put anything else in my sump pit, which is critical to keeping water out of my basement. Runs quiet, plenty of power without using too much electric and i know i can rely on this for many years to come.

Been running great for 15 years and counting
The best sump pump money could buy! I've used it since 2010. Now it's 2025 and it's still running great. I'm buying another one as a backup.

Beastly
This thing seems like a beast so far. My basement flooded a few months ago so I replaced my old sump pump with this and I've had zero problems since, even with worse weather and several flooding events. It's not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, and this thing certainly does the job well. Easy to install, functions well, and has an excellent flow rate.

Good Quality Motor - But Issues With Switch
I have hade several of these sump pumps. My home has two sumps so I need two pumps. The pumps themselves are very good quality. They last at least 5 years. HOWEVER, I have had issues with the switches that are part of the pump. They tend to fail before the pump motor. In my case, the switch failed stuck in the ON position. So I bought an external switch such as a float switch or an electronic one (electronic ones are MUCH easier to adjust). Plugging the pump into the external switch extends its life by several years. You may be able to get this pump without a built in switch and save some money and avoid the switch failure. Note the switch failure happened to BOTH my pumps.

12 yrs and running
This pump was installed 4/29/2013. And is still running as I write this. Never a problem, not even a switch. Most will say average life of a sump is 8-10 years. Well, I guess 12 and still running is great. I bought another exact model. It's on stand by for installation. Gonna see how long the original will last yet be ready to replace.

What you see is what you get! Great pump!
Bought a new house. Inspector flagged the sump pump as having a faulty float valve and generally looking tired. Sure enough, less than 6 months in the house and the old pump seized and popped a breaker. When my inspector flagged this issue back in the fall, he recommended a Zoeller for a replacement. So I jumped on Amazon and grabbed this one. My inspector has seen hundreds of properties, and he has lots of experience. When he recommends a brand, I almost always go with his suggestion. Based on the review for this item, sounds like everyone agrees that Zoeller is quality. For what it's worth, I replaced an Everbilt, which is not much cheaper, but definitely seems like a much lower quality.Thankfully, I was able to use all of the existing parts. It took some effort to clean up the PVC threads from the old sump, and then I added some pipe dope for good measure.Per the instructions, I added a 3/16 hole to prevent air lock issues. MY PIECE OF ADVICE - drill the hole pretty close to the threading, and angle it downward. My first hole (which I patched) was inside my crock, but not angled down enough and too high. The first time the pump ran, it shot water everywhere as the pressurized stream from the air hole hit the side of the crock and splattered. Patched the hole, pulled the pump, and drilled a fresh, lower, and better angled hole. Still a little splatter, but it's fine with the sump lid on.My only complaint - the item arrived having previously been opened, but, as far as I can tell, unused. I'm guess this was an Amazon return that Amazon decided was good enough to sell new again. It looks like someone got this item, opened the box, determined, for whatever reason, they didn't want it, and then sent it back. That being the case, I was comfortable with keeping and installing what I received. Happy to not create unnecessary costs with a replacement request. (Good for ole planet earth too).Anyways, 5 out of 5. Can't speak to longevity from personal experience, but very pleased so far!
