Good product, app, and support
UPDATED 15/1/23: I fitted our new DB2 doorbell a few weeks ago. Executive summary is that the device is well designed and good value, but certain installation scenarios are problematic and the Android app is was buggy at first, but support identified and fixed the problem I was seeing. In more detail: One of the reasons I decided on this model was inclusion of the inclined mounting plates. However, the supplied screws are not long enough to fix these plates, and finding others that were both long enough and with a small enough head was not easy. Eventually found some at Screwfix. Note that I contacted EZVIZ Support about this and they were hopeless and failed to understand the issue. The design of the device, with the wireless chime and local storage is very good - I'm not in favour of paying subscriptions for cloud storage so this is perfect. Once installed it worked well enough. The picture is sharp although, in my situation, daytime callers are backlit and their faces are quite dark. The app was where the problem lay. I have installed it on my Android 13 phone and have disabled battery optimisation for the app as recommended. The app works well enough but then, every day or 2, push notifications stopped working. The only way to get them working again was to force stop the app and start it again. The same issue affected my wife's Android 13 phone as well. Reading the reviews for the app in the Google Play store, other people are also getting the same problem. I reported this to EZVIZ Support. It took a couple of weeks and some toing and froing, but they ultimately made a fix and it has worked perfectly since then. Taking everything into consideration, a 5* product.

Good cameras worth the price
These are very good cameras, two for the price of one is a bargain. I had to return as in the end had no need for it. However, I already own the single version of this camera. i bought one earlier in the year, and based on that camera, I can comment the quality of the image is good. The functionality, ease of setup, recording capacity are exceptional. The night vision and motion detector is very useful. I used it to keep an eye on my cat. The mic could be improved as it picks up background noise and end up like a screeching sound. Still my cat didnt seem bothered by the quality of the mic.

Not built to last - sealant failure (as others have had)
Video misted up after 13 months. Product was fine before this - no issues with setup/lag etc. that others have reported and you can use it without a subscription (and there is no feature limitation - perhaps they hadnt used an SD card to record..). Just looks like the sealant on the lense is poor quality. Out of warranty so a bit useless, will dry it out (again) and try a DIY job on it.

Nice equivalent to ring
I chose EZVIZ as I already had some of their cameras and I like the fact that I can have them all under one storage subscription. This doorbell is very easy to use, although can be a little glitchy sometimes. The camera video quality is very good although the talkback feature when people ring the doorbell can take a while to load which can be frustrating if there is someone at the door and you aren’t home. It does run solely off WiFi so if your internet connection isn’t the best or if your WiFi goes down a lot then be prepared to not have a working doorbell. I like the chime options and overall I am happy with my purchase.

1 month usage review
I've had this doorbell for a month now. I have the Ezviz indoor camera and after a lot of research decided to opt for their doorbell over a Ring. PROS: * Picture and audio quality is very good * Easy to install - we haven't screwed it in only stuck on - has a loud tamper proof alarm if someone does try and remove it * Alerts on phone when doorbell is rung * Opted to pay for cloud storage and got a discount and reasonable price for the year * App easy to use and navigate * Can easily share camera access with others as long as they create a Ezviz account CONS: * After 3 weeks it no longer works with our Alexa show - Keeps saying to enable app when it is and has been. Cannot get it to work now which was one of the reasons we bought it for being Alexa compatible * The motion detection is either too much or not enough. Detection HIGH means it goes off when every bus or van drives past, MEDIUM or LOW detection didn't pick up when I had builders working on the front drive. Seems to be no middle ground for detection * Battery life - needing to charge every 7-10 days and cannot get it off its casing so having to put the charger through the letter box and charge it insitu. Needed to buy a longer charging cable than the one provided to do so. * Battery charging time is over 4hrs I wish I had waited for the Blink doorbell to be available as I really wanted a doorbell to be compatible with Alexa and now it's not.

Keeping an eye on our cats.
Great camera for keeping an eye on our cats while away. Easy to set up and control with the App. Camera scans left to right and up and down, zooms in, all operated by the App and eaaily visible on your phone while away from home. Able to take photos and videos of cats playing while on holiday. When not in use, you can put the camera into sleep mode Cloud storage available, but not needed for us. Very pleased with these cameras, did everything we wanted, and have four around the house, so we can follow the cat's around.
