Bought a 2007 road king that was missing the heel shift lever. my bike is pretty weathered.take the bolt all the way out , hit it slightly with a hammer, and it went right onto the bike.blue loctite and tightened up the bolt good. i will say, the bolt provided is not of the highest quality but in all honesty who cares for this low price. just becareful and don't overtighten and you will be fine.overall, highly recommend. matches the stock look as well. feels good to have a heel shifter.

Im much happier with this purchase than I expected, the only thing that wasn't perfect was the lower quality metric bolt. But that isn't much of an issue. If your particular about that you will spend $50.2007 Road King

Price is key
Shifter is good and matches my toe shifter Exactly except for the tighting screw. Was tight going onto the shifter shaft but a few taps with a rubber hammer it slide on. Fots great and matches my stock set up.Now the reason for the 3 star, the set bolt, is supersoft and without very much pressure, I stripped the hex head with an allen wrench. I had to drill it out to get it back out. Found my own bolt and replaced it. If the set screw was made of better material this would definitely be 5 stars.

Did not work for me
It's not steel. The threads to tighten fail as does the supplied screw. I supplied my own proper Allen bolt and tightened it down with threads locker, still stripped out from the steel collet. Get OEM.
