Fantastic Knife
I had a Kansbol a few years ago and loved it. I seemed to have lost it somewhere. Maybe in a move, maybe in the mountains. I went with the orange one this time around. The orange not as vibrant as it looks in the pictures, it is more like an orange leaf in the fall. I love the color. Very sharp out of the box. Also the Ferro rod works great, really throws sparks.

The Nokia of Knives
Let me start off by saying that I own several Morakniv products. I think their knives are top quality at the price point that they are provided at. They could easily market this knife at the $100-$150 price range; it’s that good! Anywho, this knife will literally last you a lifetime, it holds an edge forever, and it sharpens like a dream on most flat stones and similar sharpening devices. GET IT! You won’t regret it.

Great knife at an affordable price
The knife was razor sharp out of the box and is light and well balanced. The blade's compound grind makes for a great all around camp knife.

Morakniv Kansbol is a can-do blade
dislike - no thumb stud to use to help single hand push-pull of the blade handle; the blade is very secure in the sheath (thank you) as is the firesteel but it takes both hands to remove the blade; with some effort you can eventually work free the blade with one hand but a bit of polymer formed into a small nub would have done the trick as there's little for the thumb to push against while the fingers hold the handle. Twisting the handle doesn't work either. Good edge on the spine for the firesteel to scrape, nice strip of abrasive to help edge the blade. and of course, it's got the edge profile of a Morakniv and thats a good edge.

Fantastic!
Sheath could be better but exactly what I was looking for as a beginner survival/bush craft knife. Several months have passed and I still use it every chance I get
