Do you put this on damp or dry hair?

Is this the old formula. Meaning does product come as pictured or in the new plastic packaging

do you use this like the Moroccan oil heat protection spray? (Spray on hair in layers combing through each sprayed section and flat iron.)

I noticed at the top this says "straight" - does that mean this isn't the best product if i want to curl my hair?
