I think these are dangerous if used in a microwave. The one I used blew up like a balloon and would have burst if I'd heated it more. Very disappointed and not recommended.

The price is good although we didn't really need 4 of these, so only 2 are kept in the freezer. If you need a soft frozen pack quickly, this may not be a great choice. They are as stiff as a board when they come out of the freezer so they won't exactly drape over your shoulder as seen in the image. They do soften up with a bit of time, but because they're not as soft as others we've had, I'd suggest looking for an alternative.

I've had a large gel ice pack for years. I got this set initially for my child's miscellaneous injuries and found they are a great size for adults too. Being smaller they will thaw out faster than a large pack, but you get doubles of the smaller sizes so you can switch them back and forth as the one in use thaws. And being smaller I find it easier to use a tensor band like elastic bandage to hold these smaller packs onto the injury so I don't have to hold the pack in place with my hands.

Followed instructions exactly for use with cold therapy, product is almost impossible to use. Froze in refrigerator freezer but product was as hard as a rock so not pliable at all and couldnt apply to affected area. Once it started thawing, it was so wet with condensation it even saturated the towel it was wrapped in. Not bad for heat therapy but find even with short microwave bursts there is terrible hot spots that are impossible to knead out. Will not recommend.

J’apprécie le grand format qui permet d’emballer mes genoux. Et le fait que je puisse les mettre dans l’eau fraîchement ébouillantée pour les réchauffer (je n’ai pas de four à micro-ondes). Par contre, ils ont deux défauts importants: ils ne conservent pas la chaleur longtemps (mon utilisation principale) et ils deviennent très durs une fois congelés. Je dois les laisser dégeler un peu pour les rendre flexibles. Ils restent froids très longtemps, par ailleurs.
