Fun, easy and entertaining
I purchased this so my 12 year old daughter could make a personalized gift for her grandmother. We made the flower pots together, and she loved painting them. Not only was the finished product a cute and well-received gift, but it was a fun project for us to work on together. I would highly recommend! Finding easy activities that pre-teens actually enjoy isn't always the easiest thing to do.

Cute and Fun.
Me and my 6 year old had a blast making the pots, decorating them and planting our flowers. The mold works great and there was plenty of materials for decorating and planting. My only complaint was the instructions were a little vague on some parts. Other than that great product and a fun time with the kid!

Loved it
The grandkids loved it. Just as described. Totally worth the price.

Must be careful
I bought this as a summer project for my children. It was easy enough to mix in the bag and pour into the mold for casting, but while trying to remove the very tight rubber mold you must be careful not to crack the pot. I was able to successfully remove #1 and #3, but my obviously too forceful twist motion cracked the second one into many pieces. (I wasn't twisting that hard, but still cracked.)When mixing in the bag, there seems to be quite a bit of material left over after filling the mold. It threw me off on the first because it was very runny with the minimum amount of water it states to add. I suppose this is due to the funnel required to fill it. It did set up in the hour stated and they did have a good time painting the remaining 2. Since I have the mold, which is reusable, I will be able to save it and purchase more material separately. I think this would be cute for my herb seeds to be displayed in the home. We are just in planting phase for the seeds, so I am not sure how they will flower..... but so far, happy overall with the purchase.

Great Gift for Younger Kids Who Like Hands-On Projects
Bought this for nine year old daughter and she is really enjoying making the pots and painting them. The kids came with everything, even flower seeds which I was not expecting. The kit comes with three bags of dried plaster and one mold, and each one takes about an hour to set. So that means either doing one a day, like we did, or spending a day making the molds. In any case, it's fun, creative, and they get to make something out of nothing - which is always a good experience for kids.

Fun! Strongly recommend!
I bought this as a gift for my 12 yr old who loves to paint and plant flowers. She was able to follow the directions without my help to make the pots. I thought the mixture was too liquid, but it set in no time. The seeds are fresh, too and sprouted. The pots are small so I will encourage her to plant the flowers outside in spring. Great project for kids who like to craft.

Cool but not so great
This craft was super fun to do with my 8 year old niece. The only complaint that I have is that the paint and gloss finish inside the box were hard as a rock and clumpy. They couldn't be used at all. Even adding water didn't help too bad.

Great with Adult Supervision
9year old granddaughter received for Xmas. She is very pleased. During her break from school she and her Dad made the pots. Directions were accurate and she needed just a little more patience for this to mold. Painted about three days later and that went well. Now waiting for warm weather for the seeds. Will evaluate again if seeds grow, but overall a great craft for parent and child.
