Not black iron and came with manufacturer defects
A few issues. My kadhai arrived with two distinct deep gouges that are not just scratches but deep marks from tool defects and signal either poor craftsmanship or poor QC. This was listed as black iron however mine arrived silver iron and has me wondering if it is truly pure iron or if there is aluminum or nickel or copper or tin present. I do not like this as I purchased it because it said black pure iron and that is exactly what I wanted to receive. Also this arrived with rust already on the bottom. One last major complaint I have is the bronze handle was riveted to the side and they did a poor job with one rivet it didn't even make a proper hole in the center like it should be, it clipped the edge and now it isn't attached properly due to them attaching the rivet unproperly.
