These chewables work as well as name brand gas-x as far as I can tell after using them a few times. the difference is mainly in the texture and flavor. Where gas-x grinds down into a slightly grainy powder, this one immediately breaks and disintegrates into a much finer powder, which is fine - maybe even preferable, because it dissolves faster and doesn't feel like swallowing cherry-flavored sand. The flavor is labeled as cherry but I would say is almost closer to bubble gum, which is also fine, but after that initial taste of bubble gum, there's a really gross after-taste which is presumably the medicine inside. This isn't a flavor I got from name brand gas-x. It's a very hard flavor to describe, but I would say it tastes kind of like I imagine licking the bottom of a dusty old cupboard shelf would lol. Fortunately, this bad flavor isn't persistent if you just drink a big gulp of water right after taking it. It goes away pretty easily. That being said, I should also note that I have a very strong sense of taste and smell so, if you don't, this after-taste may be less bothersome or maybe even undetectable under the bubble gum flavor. Anyway, it's all very good for the price and I don't regret coping with the after-taste to have gas relief at half the price!

This product works as good as the name brand and soooo much more value for your money. They are easy to take with you, chewable so they get to the source faster and the flavor is good.

Fake cherry flavor is really bad. Sucralose sweetener is not healthy. I should have read the ingredients first.
