This is a very well made gold spoon, and the price on Amazon is not too onerous. The wire weedguards work surprisingly well in eelgrass, the red hook just might attract as many fish as anglers, and the shank of the hook extends far enough below the spoon for a decent-sized trailer. I only wish Amazon sold heavier sizes to better pair with my baitcaster. Now, to catch a fish with it!

These spoons are AMAZING when fishing for redsfish in grass. They love em, and hold up real well to repeated catches of bull reds. It's my go to spoon.

I've been using these spoons for over 20 years. I don't leave the dock without several in the boat. I still have some of the original spoons. Caught too many Redfish to count on'em!
