Great product as you can heat the removable gel packs and insert to make feet nice and cozy warm. The slippers themselves can be tossed in the laundry and reused over and over. I'm a reflexologist and I use them all the time for my clients. Once they are washed the padding in the sole of the slipper does bunch up so they aren't suitable for walking safely but that is not an issue if you are just using to heat the feet which is what I do. Love them and have been using them for 5 years now. Eventually the gel beads do break down but you get years of use out of them before they do.

While these slippers are a good idea in concept, the execution of the product wasn't really all that great. The heating/cooling inserts are just loose and flop around on top of your foot -- and since the slippers are basically bags with ties at the ankles, they often don't touch your foot. They don't stay in place either, and end up poking you in the ankle and moving around. The end result is that it doesn't do much heating/cooling. Also I got the impression from the listing that the soles were also heating/cooling, and they are not. I returned mine.

I purchased a pair of these slippers for a Valentine's Day Present. The first two times they were worn, they were GREAT! The third time one of the inner bags of little green gell thermal pellets broke and the little green thermal pellets came out and went almost everywhere. Needless to say, I returned them to Amazon.com for a refund. I am not sure if this was just a defective pouch or if this is a real product problem. The pouch goes on top of the slipper in its own area to help heet the top of the foot. The botton thermal gell was not a problem.

Glad I found more of these, they keep my feet warmer/drier, don't hurt sore toes
