Red KapMen's Stain Resistant, Flat Front Work Pants

I have been buying Red Kap pants for probably 15 years, Navy Blue flat front pants are a dress requirement where I work. Years ago when I first saw them advertised on a Automotive Workwear sight I was skeptical mainly due to the price being so cheap but I decided to give them a try.These pants are literally the best work pants I have ever owned, First off Comfort, right out of the bag fit perfectly, slightly longer on the inseam but not too serious a wee bit stiff at first but within a few wash and wears you can feel them soften, (Unlike my 5 year old Dickies which still stand on their own)Not much for color fade either they hold up well.They are tough pants, I am up and down off the ground frequently, I snag them constantly and no tears, Stain resistant to all automotive chemicals except battery acid obviously. (but the acid didn't make it through to my skin)Like I said I have been buying and wearing Red Kaps a long time, I started at waist size 56 and worked my way down to currently a 44 waist. All the pants I have ordered have fit and worn perfectly and when I was done with the bigger size Goodwill happily took them.On a few occasions I received pants that had flaws with the inseam or zipper but had no problem with exchanges at all. I solved the longer inseam problem with buying better boot which I should have anyway.I will buy these until I retire and then probably after.

The pants were true to size and they are a thicker material which makes them more durable. They wash nice and do not shrink. Good for the price. I would recommend.

These pants I bought since I had worn out the olive drab khakis, I bought 5 years ago. For some reason all the olive drab dye seems to be diverted to women's fashion, perhaps in honor of President Zelenskiy. The pants fit right. They feel tougher but not heavier than some chinos I recently purchased, and I can wear them in an office environment, or while working outside. I can't say how they will hold up over time, but I have purchased other items from this company that have worn well. I think the price is reasonable, and I believe they well made. The pockets, however, are a bit small.

I think the construction feels very good and durable. But they definitely run small if your not the big waist, small legs and rear kinda guy. There is no give in the material so dont expect stretch. I went up maybe 4 inches in the waist more than my usual and still way too tight to wear.

I'm a pretty big dude and finding pants that fit and are long enough is a challenge. The majority of clothing manufacturers or distributors subscribe to the belief that if you are tall you must be skinny and, of course, if you have a waist over 42" you must be short and stocky. I am neither of these things and buying pants is a daggone hassle. Last time I bought "good" pants it was expensive as all get out and that's when I could find anything. These pants are great. Kind-of like a light weight fire hose-esque material. I dropped pizza on them (day one, of course) and it wiped right off. Perfectly long and fits nicely. Pretty bulky, obvious stitching, but it doesn't look bad or cheap or anything. Just kinda industrial. They are great work pants. I kind of bridge between office and manufacturing very frequently in my job and I don't feel out of place in either. Button seems stout. Only thing I noticed is the left rear pocket seems more towards the side and around towards the front. Again, I don't think it's an error, just a design element. I thought it was a cell phone pocket or something, but it was just the back pocket. That pocket doesn't have a button and the right does. Wallet side I suppose.Anyhoo, I instantly ordered another pair in dark green. Two thumbs up. 5 stars; would buy again. Did buy again.

Not pleased with the belt loops not being attached to the pant. Two of the belt loops were not attached at all at the bottom and another belt loop was held to the pants by one stitch only. This is a shame as the fabric is nice and the pants appear they will wear quite nicely. I don't expect to buy a new piece of clothing and have to spend time making it wearable. I thought it would be quicker to hand sew the belt loops to the pants than it would be to return this item. Also, the legs of the pants are a little baggy but should work well for anyone that stoops and bends a lot in their job.

Very quick delivery. 2days before estimated. Great fit with a loose leg. Pockets are very durable to the feel. May be a bit baggy for some people's liking though.
