They are a perfect balance of narrative and illustration. These books never disappoint and with AMAZON they are priced well and ship immediately. My grandson loves his collection. If for any reason you are reading this and cannot afford an extensive library of childrens’ books, don’t forget your public library. My grandson loves having his own library card and going to the library to pick out two books to read each week. It’s free and makes for a fun outing especially if you go during Story time.

My son (almost 3 yrs) LOVES toy story. All of them. I actually think they are a little too difficult and scary for him.And I also think they are way too long for him to watch. So most of times I let him watch the fun parts/chapters and skip the scary parts. Toy Story 1 and 3 are temporarily banned from our devices.I think Toy Story 2 is less scary, but that's my opinion.To explain a bit better the story's I bought all of the Golden Book versions of Toy Story. Just so I can explain it better to him and to make it less scary. The books are absolutely less scary and more toddler friendly.Buzz is his big hero, so he loves to hear story's about him.It is only 3.59 and I can read it over and over to him. It is also a lightweight and easy to travel with in a backpack or in your suitcase

My 3yr old loves this book and he loves the movie. I would give it 5 stars for my kid but gave it 4 because I don’t know how well a kid would follow it if they haven’t seen the movie. It’s basically a simple summary of the movie.

My two boys, 2 and 4 love Toy Story and love this book!

This is a nice bedtime book for anybody who has a toddler that loves Toy Story. Its a shortened version of Toy Story 2 with Jessie the cowgirl and stinky pete the prospector. Its long enough to get your toddler sleepy eyed, and short enough to get them to bed quickly.

We have several of these little golden books many have even been second hand they hold up well!

The movies takes 2 hours, and you can read this book to your kid in 5 mins! They love reading it again and again after watching the movie and after each page say things they saw on the movie!

Bought for my daughter who is a Toy Story fanatic!This book is an extremely pared down version of the original story featuring delightful illustrations which often hint at the parts of the story the book misses out on.Most importantly, my daughter loves it and i will be purchasing all of the Toy Story books in this series.Well worth the tiny price tag!

Versus the other three books in this collection this one is very poor quality and seems unfinished. Just gave to little boy for his birthday and not impressed

Nice pictures,but cover so solid and thin actually got a paper cut from the edge so worried about sending it to a young child now....

Can’t beat little golden books for picture quality and story my 3 year old loves these books
