So I was worried that there were some hidden cameras and or audio recording devices in an office. I bought this knowing that it was not the most expensive version but hoped it would do the job. I scanned all over the office and was able to get signal for items I knew were in the office including our own camera and other equipment. I even was able to get a signal for something in the ceiling that I have yet to get a ladder to investigate. I think that the more expensive versions will do a better job. I had to move it pretty slow, but not too slow to get signals pin pointed. This is really adding some peace of mind. I love that it is so small and that it easily recharges. 3 settings make it quite useful. I am happy with this and plan on taking it with me to hotels I stay in as well. Great addition to my suitcase considering the world we live in now.

This is a pretty good product overall. I tested it on a few devices; the WiFi detection worked pretty well and well as the RF scanner. It was pretty straightforward and easy to use the despite the fact that the instruction manual was a bit vague and had some translation issues. The infrared camera detection seems a bit useless. I think careful inspection with the naked eye would give similar results. Really cool design, super discreet and portable with decent battery life.

The A9 Decent is a solid and simple-to-use device that makes it easy to locate Wifi and Fullband radio signals, and camera reflections. About 5 minutes after opening it I was able to reference the instructions and test it out successfully on my WiFi router. Next I switched over the the Fullband and located other known radio devices in my house. The buttons and interface are straight forward and easy to understand. The range has a pretty good swing too (which is what you want) when it's on the lowest sensitivity you need to be inches away for the Wifi and Radio device but on high sensitivity it will sound out from a few feet away. The battery life on this is great and it uses the new USB-C connector. The infrared light is nice too, it's got a couple of different settings which adjust whether it's a solid light or how fast it blinks. The blink ability is important because you're looking for an unnatural reflection at a distance for camera glass. With the solid infrared light the reflection is there but your eyes and brain just sort of adjust to it and you may overlook it... but on the blink setting the reflection really "juts out" as being different and you can tell much faster that you're looking at reflective glass. I'll be taking this on trips to hotels and bed and breakfast location and with a 10-15 minute walk-around discovery I'll be able to ensure my family's and friend's privacy at each location. Really satisfied with this device!

It functioned as they claim. However, I dropped it twice, both times on a non hard surface, and the back ring fell off then on the second drop the front ring fell off. The first time I was able to find it and replace it. Unfortunately, on the second drop, again on a non hard surface, the front ring fell off. I was unable to find the front ring. So based on durability, I wouldn’t purchase it again.

It feels very reliable and the look is sleek.

There's so much to like here. The modern, compact sleek design greatly increases its utility, much more modern & attractive than conventional privacy monitors. It works well in all applications listed, and I found its consistency & accuracy in identifying even the most hidden, tiny wireless cameras to be a welcomed feature. It is sleek, portable as a ballpoint pen, and offers a measure and level of security I have yet to find in lesser and more bulky detectors. I find the latter to be outdated in its features compared to this A9 Decent. I recommend this Autrictop electronic device with absolutely no hesitation. I will likely purchase another for a friend who travels often. Better safe than sorry. Way to go, Autrictop!

Although this product is sleek and compact, there are no real directions on how it works. Watching the videos people have posted did not help. Searching other products online helped me to gain insight to this and I was then able to detect known sources in a house from about 16 inches away. The product will signal more rapidly in sequence when it finds a signal. Does anyone know what the single beep means?

Bought this as an exploratory. Don’t like the idea of people spying. Wouldn’t we all like to catch up with one for a “face-to-face? Received this much earlier than expected so had not yet done my homework on how to best use it. Turns out this particular one is one of the best out there. As I have been learning about what to look for, I am finding it very simple to use as well. Perfect size if you want to conceal it and the silent mode can keep your scan stealth-like. I am looking forward to scanning my children’s apartments. I hope I am wrong, but I think with all of the “air bnb” unprofessional, no rules type of flakey businesses being allowed to operate and easy access to spying equipment for anyone, this spying pervert stuff is going to become a real problem. Everyone should have one of these. I know the phone apps aren’t there yet, so don’t bother. Be smart and safe!

I wish it would of came with a more detailed user guide. Do love that it's light weight, I definitely feel I overpaid as it was 117$ and now seeing it posted for 49$ delivery was on time.

Moi et mon mari, avons achetés ce détecteur pour raisons personnelles, mais ce détecteur bip partout. Sois partout au plafond ou bien partout sur le sol, et même dans une chaise berçante et j'en passe. Alors c'est n'importe quoi. N'achetez pas ça, car à ce prix là, on nous a dit, par un expert, que c'était comme un jouet, que ce n'était pas bon. D'après ce spécialiste pour ce genre de choses, il nous a recommandé d'acheter des caméras et c'est ce qu'on a fait. Car un bon détecteur de caméras caché ou de micro, valait dans les 4 à 5 chiffres. Amazon n'a rien à voir dans tout ça, ce n'est pas eux qui les vendent

Product arrived quickly and in good condition. It is easy to use following the instruction booklet. I would find it useful if there were some short instructional videos on the best method of use and exactly what the indicators mean for those of us that are new to using this type of device. I am happy with my purchase.
