I really wanted a sturdy mixing dish and saw an artist online using a ceramic one . This one is perfect ! Huge center cavity for clean water or to hold a container of water and 12 cavities se at an angle to mix your watercolor pigments .I love that they are at a slight slope, makes it easier to grab more color as I am painting very easy to clean when done using, I simply rinsed with water and pat dry with a towel cloth or paper towelGreat investment and tool added to my art supplies !Its small enough to fit in a bag or briefcase but personally I do not recommend as its a bit heavy ( which I love adds to the sturdiness ) and it may fall and break so I advise to leave at home, desk, or studio where ever you are stationed to work and paint

This palette is large and makes it easy to mix your colors. Highly recommend this one an excellent quality and size

This palette is PERFECT for my needs. I paint in my lap, so anything I use will be tipped slightly, and the divided wells I have found in the past are far too small to mix with a larger brush (I most often use size 12) and a single flat palette is no good since I’m at an angle and all the colors run together. Also, the size of this is small enough to fit on my little painting board, which means I have a complete kit, all on one board. Plus, being porcelain, the colors do not bead and I can see exactly what is going to end up on my paper. I love this palette!If I didn’t constantly change favorite colors, I’d put a bit of paint in the corners of these wells, which would allow me to get rid of the pans (which are simply too small). If I did that, I could get color on my brush AND get the correct water load, all in a single well. (I am tempted to get several of these porcelain palettes with each of my fave color combos loaded in.)

Very sturdy, heavy enough that it is stable. Its not going to slide or flip when accidentally bumped into. Very easy to clean. I turned around and ordered more

4 stars given for confusing measurements. Title says 8", photo lists cm dimensions (which I would say is most accurate of the 3), and specs (further down) list different dimensions in inches. Mine measured 7.5" by 4 1/8", outside dimensions. The well walls are 1/4" tall. The ceramic perimeter is not perfectly square, so measurements differ slightly a little at different points. This product is a bit smaller than what I was hoping to buy.That said, it is sturdy and will clean well, being ceramic. Mine arrived in perfect condition (well boxed). I will be able to make good use of it for my watercolors; I just need something else now for larger washes.

I love this. It’s just the right size to set on my work table along with watercolor pans and other mixed media. The fact that it’s ceramic allows some of the leftover mixed colors to be softened up again the next day. I don’t know how I ever painted without it. It also arrived packed well and in perfect shape. It’s a solid tool no painter should be without.

A diferencia de los godetes de plástico, este no se queda manchado. Buen tamaño. Solo hay que manejarlo con cuidado, porque puede romperse.

Excelente opcion para pintar con acuarelas, habia usado paletas de plastico pero el problema es que no retienen el agua de los pinceles, alguien me recomendo conseguir una paleta de cerámica, y esta es una excelente opción el agua baja sola y tiene la altura necesaria para escurrir los pinceles
