Nice toothbrush
I used to use the Philips toothbrush years ago but didn’t like the way that it tickled my mouth so I then went over to a brun toothbrush. But now after 20 years, I’ve come back to the Philips toothbrush and it feels a lot nicer when you’re brushing your teeth yes I can recommend this toothbrush to anyone that’s looking.

Great toothbrush
This is a replacement for my old and discontinued sonic ORALB toothbrush. I much prefer sonic than the rotating ones so did my research and this one ticked all the boxes. It leaves your teeth really clean, not too noisy, different vibration patterns depending on the selected setting, great for travelling, haven't used the app yet. The glass charger is bigger than I expected and it took me a few days to get used ot it, overall I think it is worth the expensive price tag and I am happy with my purchase.

I didn't realise how I was brushing my teeth ineffectively until I started using the provided app.
I didn't realise how I was brushing my teeth ineffectively until I started using the provided app.Not only does it give you a timer but it ensures that you are using the correct pressure and clean your entire mouth properly, reviewing bits that you missed. It also adds the options for a tongue clean and mouthwash rinse. It does take a while to let the brush do the cleaning and just hold the brush over the teeth without reverting to stereotypical toothbrushing hand movements. I had to retrain my brain! The battery lasts a long time and the brush lets you know when it needs a recharge. The replacement heads are quite expensive but this is because they have they Wifi sensors in them to give the feedback to the app.I found after a while I stopped using the app as I had remembered how to clean my teeth and couldn't be bothered with the extra fussing.Love this toothbrush and I personally feel and prefer the sonic cleaning from this brush over the rotary cleaning of an OralB.

Dont buy, wont last.
I am on my 3rd replacement, they dont last more than 6 months before the head gets really loose. Phillips make you send the unit back wait 3 weeks and then send you a "replacement". absoultely pathetic quality.

Strong performer
Most would stay away from paying so much money for a toothbrush and they are right, there are so many others, very good ones too, cheaper. But, WOW, if you find a good deal for it, treat yourself and buy it. It is powerful, full of features. Your teeth will thank you.

Philips Electric Toothbrush
I had had a similar toothbrush for a number of years & needed a replacement. It’s amazing, cleans your teeth like no other, I love it…

Works well with or without app
I have used Phillips Sonicare brushes for many years. They usually last two or three years then get very noisy as whatever bearing wear out. I do not have a problem with that as they all have twice daily use and seem to clean my teeth well. No hesitation in buying this one and so far continues to work well. App for me is a bit of a gimmick but no problem as you do not have to brush with it.

Love this toothbrush, but it costs a fortune!
I have used an electric toothbrush for years but this is my first time using a sonic toothbrush - I don't think I will go back!First impressions are a very sleek product, it definitely has a premium look and feel. The charging glass is something I have never seen before and it looks so much smarter than a basic charging stand, but it is not something I would necessarily pay extra for as it does not improve the brushing experience. The brush itself has four different modes and three different intensities to pick from. I have been going for "Deep Clean" and I think it has reduced the gradual build up of plaque over the last month. During each brushing, it buzzes periodically to remind you to move round six different sections of your mouth. It also buzzes and lights up the base if you are pressing too hard with the toothbrush which is useful - I had a tendency to press too hard when I first started using it but I find that I have been "conditioned" by the toothbrush and the warning comes on much less frequently now.The toothbrush comes with two toothbrush heads - one for general brushing and one for gum health - I had to google to find out what they were intended for so that I could decide which one to use. On the Philips website there is a whole menu of different toothbrush heads to pick from. There is also a very smart, albeit bulky, travel case - not the sort of thing that I would pack if I was travelling "hand luggage only".You can connect the toothbrush to a Smartphone app - I have not bothered as for me it is just a gimmick. I do not need a "progress report" on my brushing, or to see how my brushing has improved over time. You can use the toothbrush perfectly well without connecting it to the app.The big drawback of this toothbrush is the price, and that is the only reason I have deducted a star. The RRP is absolutely ridiculous in my opinion. Having used it for a month so far and absolutely loving the toothbrush, if it needed replacing I would hesitate to buy it again, even at the current Amazon price which is about 40% less than RRP.
