Drains power, but works as it should.
The iDiskk app that you have to use with it is not the best. I've had it crash several times. But I plug the SD card from our digital camera into this device and then connect it to the iPad and voila! I can put the pictures straight on it that way and bypass my computer entirely (which is what we wanted this for because my computer is ancient and could give out at any minute). I did try to plug it into my phone once, but my phone was at 9% and the next thing I knew my phone shut down because this used up the remaining power in about a minute, but I'm not surprised since this device has to use the thing it's plugged into as a power source.
