I would recommend this antenna to anyone.
I've only used this with the RF Explorer 3G combo, so keep in mind, everything I say relates to that. All around, a very nice antenna and considerably less costly than a few others on Amazon. Pros: - While it is not completely unidirectional, ratios like Front/Back and Front/Side are definitely good enough to find source direction, - Front end gain is as good as the RF Explorer's general antennae. Side and rear are almost as good, so I don't have to switch antennae to get non-directional readings, - On paper this antenna is only rated down to 900 MHz. However, it receives very well all the way down to 15 MHz. That is the RF Explorer's lower limit, so this antenna might go even lower. At these lower frequencies Its front end has comparable gain to both of the RF Explorer's antennae. Side and rear gains are still useable. - Solder joints are well done and sturdy, finish is sturdy, - Has mounting holes around the edges, - Comes with well documented specs. Cons (sort of): - It's a bit big, but I suspect any antenna of its type would be.

I recommend this antenna
I like that this product does exactly as it's advertised. It has an easy setup as long as you have the right connectors.

I find it useful for putz'n around or having in the toolbox
Works as stated. Interesting antenna....it almost seems that back/front sometimes had unexpected behavior, but then again my environment is weird. For the price, I find it useful for putz'n around or having in the toolbox. I'm going to construct a handle in which I will use the holes on the PCB.

It works as promised
Tested in the 23 and in the 13 cm bands, great in the focus of a parabolic antenna or in laboratory measurements, needs atmospheric protection for outdoor use
