Cheap and cheerful, but does the job.Only problem is that the testing terminal for contiguity (red light) comes loose.It has a screw cap which with use causes the nut securing it in place inside the housing to come loose.I bought a replacement because the loose terminal actually broke fell out of the casing, and within a month that one had already come loose.I opened the casing to tighten it, but It is very awkward to access the nut. With a small screw driver I was able to gradually turn the nut until it gripped and then applied some silicone to prevent it moving again.

A cheap and decent alternative to expensive power meters for making quick and dirty loss measurements. There is a power measurement offset (when compared to an industry standard power meter), but nothing too drastic (roughly +/- 1.0 dB, as measured for a power of around -6.0 dBm). Recommended if you are looking for a stand-in, or something to hand out to students/newbies.
