I've tried other types of traps most are not really big enough. This was easy to use by comparison and perfect for a trap, neuter, release, of a street cat.

The only disadvantage that if a smart cat can take the food without touching the lever.. a smarter cat can pull the back shield and scape if it figures out that it should pull not push, you may overcome that by putting another bar from inside also so it can’t be pulled or pushed .. best thing is remove the animal as soon as it is trapped so it will not try to figures out how to scape
