Winch does not have the same appearance as in the photos
I purchased this winch based on the reviews, price, reported performance, and appearance. The winch arrived packed well and with typical instructions. The winch was selected due to the fact that the motor cap was smooth (not an overlapping ribbed version often seen on other, similar, models) with silver cross bars. The winch that arrived is the same as shown in several review images in that it has the ribbed motor cap (on the left side in the photos) and black cross bars. Will be returning. Other than that I assume that it would work as it is well constructed and has the typical features at a pretty good deal.

So far so good
Spent the last night replacing front end on my truck but didn’t wire lights or winch bc it was gettin late, today the guy that hunts the neighbors property asked if I could pull him out so I just ran jumper cables to winch and it pulled him out no problem, I was really surprised at the amount of rope on the winch!
