LOVE it!
This book is a work of Art. Art with words. The headings alone got me all jazzed up. 'Failure is not Fatal,' Sharpen your most Potent tool,' 'Flee False Love,' Barking up the wrong tree,' 'Perfume your life,' 'Stay sparkly,' 'Dress Joyfully,' 'Make Mistakes,' 'Your Body Barometer,' and plenty more where this came from. Each heading got me curious and keen to turn the pages and none of the chapters disappointed, quite the contrary. The author is a word artist in the best possible way. This is a delightful guide with simple, life-affirming messages that will help anyone succeed in business and in life. How's this for a simple yet extremely powerful affirmation (from Coco herself) "I invented my life by taking for granted that everything I did not like would have an opposite, which I would like."I was down in the dumps about something in my life and reading just a few pages of this book lifted me completely out of it.LOVE it!

The Art of Success is a beautiful read
This beautiful book is filled with balance for the modern woman, or man, who welcomes passion, creativity and wonderment aligned with sensibility that will aid our journey to success. I was reminded that every day I should seek and have beauty whether it is in my work, the clothes I choose to wear, the food I select to feed myself or the people I welcome to spend time with, every day no matter the drama that maybe unfolding or needing to be managed, passion, beauty and wonderment will aid my success. A joy - than you Casandra.

Inspiring!
I loved this book. I have always admired Coco Chanel and this book helped me relate to her in a way that will be very helpful to me as I work towards my own goals. I especially appreciated the fact that this book showed both her successes AND her flaws, which makes her more accessible and relatable. This book is inspiring and I will be using it as a reference going forward!

Certainly not what I had anticipated - I was thinking ...
Certainly not what I had anticipated - I was thinking that it'd be more biographical and not a bunch of tit-bit essays. Features many quotes by Coco and a few of them are used repetitively throughout either as 'chapter' headings or in the body of the 'chapters'. Overall a disappointing read and purchase. I'm sure that the author is a lovely lady & very accomplished but I got 3/4 way through and just thought "why am I continuing to read this?" and stopped...I have more informative books to read in what little spare time I have! This is going to the animal shelter book donation sale!

Think Positive!
Easy reading and a reminder to stay positive.

Single sentence quote. Not in depth
Sold as some type of blueprint to success. One sentence attributed to Gabrielle Chanel, 3 or 4 paragraphs about her quote. I read this in a hour. Hardly a game changer.

Easy read
Súper short and easy to read but many times I felt like I was reading the same thing several times

What a Waste of Reading Time
After a drawn out introduction that says precisely nothing, the book fulfils its initial impression with a disconnected set of ramblings and a regurgitating of other peoples’ cliches. Nothing new, nothing interesting, nothing useful.

Disappointed
Repetitive, same quotations on every second page, it's not engaging but rather boring with common sense, simplistic tips flavoured with tarot and astrology recommendations. And it has nothing to do with Chanel's life.
