Looks much more expensive and luxurious than it has a right to be at this price. And, of course, no one can get really close to it to see that it is only plastic! Good length on the cord.

Years ago, I switched the lights on our tree to LED because I got tired of having to run out and get more cheap replacement lights every year while in the process of putting up the tree. Now that we're on our third star topper in about ten years, I wanted to get LED for that too but got overwhelmed by the reviews. So I went with this one. I like that it is really lightweight (but it still doesn't stand up entirely straight. I guess it would if I worked harder at it). As noted in another review, the lights inside the star are in the shape of stars, which is a nice touch! Removing it from the package caused an explosion of fine glitter on my counter, sweatshirt, and pants. But I like glitter :)

The star itself is great. The sparkles get everywhere when you pull it out of the box but that can be vacuumed up. The cord is only a couple feet long. If you can’t plug it into your Christmas lights on the tree you will have to run an extension cord up the tree. That is honestly the only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5.

Perfect sized star for our 9 foot tree. Good quality and the extension cord was longer than previous ones we’ve had. Love it!

The first star I bought, I loved - the glitter, the lights. Then we broke it and the replacement isn't the same. It didn't come with the topper thing, so I had to take it from the broken one in order to put it on the tree. And this new one isn't battery-powered, so I had to find an extension cord and try to hide it down the back of the tree. Not quite as stable or as attractive.the star itself is still beautiful.

4 days after putting the star on my Christmas tree, it stopped working. It came with some spare bulbs and a fuse. None of the bulbs were blown so I assumed it was the fuse. It was difficult to get to the fuse and I damaged it in the process. Fuse also looked fine and replacing it didn’t help either. At this point packaging was thrown away and now the product was damaged so I couldn’t return it. Don’t waste your money. Cheaply made.
