I have a bad back -- a _really_ bad back. You may think your back is bad, but that's just peanuts to my back. (Ten fused vertebrae, five operations) So, my back is very sensitive and I've spent a lot of time over the past decade lying down just from pain and ache. I decided to finally try a bean bag, after years thinking I'd never be able to get out of it. I'm also a big guy, so a weedy little thing is not going to take my weight, and certainly not me plus my seven-year-old using me as a climbing frame. The thick corduroy is substantial yet comfortable and the structural material making up the base and back is good. The seams seem sound, and the zips good. It opens with a single zip about 30-40cm, revealing an inner "bag" with its own zip, so it acts as a sort of "airlock" for the beads. This bag/tube will... um... "prolapse" outside the outer zip for filling. It arrived very promptly -- a day earlier than expected -- in two boxes. The boxes weren't substantial and there were a few loose balls. However, it wasn't enough to worry me. The second box contains roughly half the volume of beads contained in a mesh/gauze bag much like a tubigrip for a giant, knotted at both ends. Untie one end and you'll have a winter wonderland in your lounge. Instead, open the outer zip and "prolapse" the filling bag/tube. Then, lift the bag by this tube and shake to make the beans already in there settle. Then hoist the net of extra beads over your shoulder, untie the end, and pour into the bag. Do this slowly, throttling the net as you do so, and give the bag a shake once in a while to make more space. At one point, roughly halfway, you can try the next step. Basically the goal is to squish the remaining net into the bean bag so it's all in there, net and all. This can take some doing, but I managed it with _zero_ spillage. Once it's in there, _carefully_ start pulling the net bag out, squeezing out the beads as you go. You should be left with an empty net and a full bean bag! I didn't even have to get the hoover out to clean up. HOWEVER, at this point while my daughter and partner found the bean bag really comfortable, it was too hard for me; the polystyrene beads pack densely and make for a dense, hard experience. That's fine for many people, but it was a little too hard for me. So, I ordered a 3kg bag of "memory foam crumb" from Amazon, which arrived a day or so later. My idea was to replace about a quarter of the beads with foam chips to give it a bit more squish. I didn't want _entirely_ foam, but just make it a bit softer. The chips were packaged in a thick polythene sack, and this was when the mess started... I ended up emptying about half the beads from the bean bag into a spare duvet cover -- if I'd known I just wouldn't have filled the bag as above to begin with. Then I slid the net bag over the polythene sack like a sock, and emptied the foam into the net. This is because unlike polystyrene beads, foam doesn't "flow", especially in polythene. However, foam does release dust from the net, so it wasn't clean. I then did the same filling approach as above, squeezing the net inside the bean bag and then pulling it out empty. By this point the net was quite worse for wear from snagging on zips and was littered with foam chips. I then emptied the duvet cover back into the net, and then did the Santa sack pour back into the bean bag, giving it a good shake. Once I'd crammed as much as I could into it -- and at this point overflowed quite a bit -- I zipped up, and the bean bag is now _far_ more comfortable! At the end, we'd spilled about half a pint glass of beads, if that. The hoover picked up the stragglers, and everything's tidy. The duvet cover's probably got some stuck in the seams, but that's for another day. If given the choice, I'd pick this same bag with a half-and-half memory foam / polystyrene filling; or if buying another I'd buy the memory foam to start with. Anyway, it's now just as supportive, but has a bit more "give" to it.

This beanbag is fantastic, I'd be trawling through Google trying to find a good bean bag to use while I'm on my PS5 and this fits the bill perfectly. It's got quite a hefty price tag, but it comes with approximately 1 billion beans (most of which will end up on your floor, recommend reading the instructions and/or having a dustpan and brush on hand) and makes for a very supportive and firm seat. It's also not too low to the ground so you can get off it easily. The footstall is good to have, if you've got guests over you could put a guest you don't really like on there, functions great as an extra seat.

Lovely..comes half filled . Best to have two but I did on my own. I would give it 5 stars if come filled but it's done and looks good and comfortable and adult size. Happy

The bean chair / foot rest is very comfy and is a useful, lightweight hence flexible and practical addition to lounge / anywhere in house seating. As others have noted, stuffing the chair with beans does mean that these little white things can get everywhere. I used a small saucepan to "scoop" the beans into the chair at first, and then used a range of methods, including just tipping the contents into the chair (I did it alone, would be easier with 2 people). To avoid not using all of the stuffing, I hoovered them up with my Dyson (after emptying the dust cylinder) and was able to empty these back directly into the chair.

Product does not match description. Foot stool missing. Says it is pre-filled but very little filling. Looks like a pancake.

I saw a review where the guy said about adding crumbed foam to the filling to make it extra comfy. He wasn't lying! With just the beads it was a bit too hard and didn't give the chair that inflated/pillow feel or look. With 5kg of crumbed foam and half the beans it's worked an absolute treat for me. Would highly recommend! Also yes I made a massive mess filling it up. I found filling most of the way up and shaking around helped to separate the foam from the beads, not to mix them. So I got in deep with my arm to spread everything around. Then took handfuls of foam and pushed into specific areas that needed it, then released the foam and shook my hand around inside a bit to mix it in that little area. Worked an absolute treat! Best of luck with getting it right for you! Chair material is super comfy and fits in with my room aesthetic very nicely without feeling like some kid's big bean bags thing sitting in the corner and out of place. Very happy!

It's ok I suppose - not as plump as the photos, or as deep. It's very expensive for what it is. There are two huge boxes. Box number 2 with the half filled bean bag was ridiculously oversized. The beans will go everywhere, no matter how careful you are. Let's see how long it lasts...

Good material and posture. You will need help as it comes half full and you need to fill the other half. You can do it on your own, as I did, is just a bit more messy!!

Acabo de recibir el producto. La calidad de la tela parece bien (aun que no lo he usado todavía). Sin embargo, que tengas en cuenta que falta mucho relleno. Si quieres utilizarlo en el momento que llegue, que compres más relleno a la misma vez.

Prachtige stoel en bijbehorende poef. In eerste instantie was er iets mis gegaan met de levering, ik ontving toen alleen de vulling. Nadat ik contact had opgenomen kreeg ik vrijwel direct een reactie van de klantenservice. Ze gingen het direct uitzoeken en dankzij deze top service werd de stoel en de poef op dezelfde dag nog geleverd! Mijn complimenten voor de klantenservice van de leverancier! Der Sessel macht einen sehr guten ersten Eindruck! Sehr weich, Nähte sauber verarbeitet, riecht nicht und das Befüllen ist mit 2 Personen rasch erledigt. Der Sitzsack ist schon etwas vorbefüllt. Die restliche Füllung ist in einem separaten Paket (in einer Art Netz) und man kann sich den Sitzsack dann nach Belieben weiter auffüllen. Dafür gibt es 2 große Reißverschlüsse, einen außen und einen innen mit einer relativ großen Öffnung. Allein sicher schwierig, aber mein Mann und ich haben das in paar Minuten sehr gut hinbekommen. Sitzt sich sehr bequem und die Farbe ist wie auf den Bildern in der Beschreibung. Ich kann den Artikel weiterempfehlen.
