Best headlamp I've ever used. Very good as a flashlight, too.
The amount of light and color fidelity is amazing. It's astounding to use it in a dark room and all of the colors just POP! It's like sunlight. Speaking of sunlight, on the Turbo 2 setting it's like the sun. This thing is so bright! 1600 lumens is no joke. Of course, it only stays on that level for 1 minute because it gets so hot, but, man, it'll light up your entire yard! The breadth of the light is great! It'll fill almost your entire field of vision. (Turbo 2 is only available if you use the advanced mode. Read the manual for how to turn it on.)I also really like how low it goes! Firefly 1 mode is so faint that you can barely tell it's on unless you're in a pitch black room, but there's no flicker at all! It's great for checking something at night without blinding yourself. I find that Firefly 2 or 3 is the dimmest I like it, but I'm glad the choice exists.I swear I read every word of the manual, but I had to watch a YouTube video to even learn how to charge this thing. You have to twist the battery cover 1/4 turn counter clockwise, which makes the flashlight inoperable. Only then will it charge. If you don't do this the charger will flash red quickly. If you do it right, it will flash green then be solid red until it's done charging. In the advanced mode, you can double-click to go to the Main range of powers, and triple-click to go to Turbo, from the unit being off or already on. This leads to some undesirable behavior. If the unit is off, and the last mode you used was Turbo 2, and you attempt to double-click the button to start it in Main mode, the very first click will turn Turbo 2 mode on for a slit second, blinding you before going to your last used Main brightness. I kinda wish it had a very slight delay before turning on to give it enough time to see if you are doing a multi-click. Of course, if they did this, some people would complain that it takes a half second to turn on, so I dunno. To avoid this issue entirely, if you want to make sure you don't blind yourself, with the flashlight off, hold down the button, and it will cycle through Firefly Mode 1, 2, 3, then Main 1, 2, 3, then Turbo 1. You can stop whenever you feel it's bright enough. It takes a little time, but it guarantees you won't blind yourself. (It won't go all the way to Turbo 2 when doing this, but you can stop at Turbo 1, release the button, then hold it again for one second to switch to Turbo 2.) If you're not using Advanced Mode, it doesn't go up to Turbo 1 doing this, and there might be one fewer Firefly mode. I forget.I gave it a 4 for comfort because the hard plastic holder to use it as a headlamp isn't comfortable for long use. The edges press into your forehead and it leave marks on your skin. I found that using it higher on my forehead than I usually wear headlamps will minimize this. Your experience will vary based on your head size. I have a giant head, and the curve of the holder is more curved than my forehead is. I imagine on smaller heads it would feel perfect. It really needs some kind of foam pad. I might add one myself.

I liked it so much, I bought a second one
For those new to feature packed top-of-the-line LED lights, it's important to learn the user interface (UI) when purchasing a light. There's more to operating the light than turning it on and off. If you are ready to take a little time to practice with the UI, then this light may be for you. What's important perhaps to point out to beginners is that there are two "types of operation" for the headlamp. The General operation type is the default setting and is the easiest to learn. With the light in General operation type, and while the light is off, the user holds the button on the headlamp and the light begins cycling through each of five modes. The modes vary in brightness. To select a brightness mode, the user simply releases the button when the desired mode is reached. That's it. To turn the light off, the button is hit again. To turn the light back on to the selected mode, the button is clicked again.I wrote this for beginners because I don't want new users getting overwhelmed or confused by all the many options this light has. This way after purchase, someone can refer to this review to get them started off if they are having difficulty.Once a user has mastered the General type of operation they can move to Advanced type operation and gain access to six more light modes. For those of you who may have one or more quality lights, you may already be familiar with this headlamp through the Armytek Youtube channel, reviews on websites and forums and on Youtube, etc., and even the detailed description above on this Amazon listing and other reviews here. Or Maybe you already own another headlamp in the Wizard series. Not much I can add to all that. One thing I have found is that the Armytek Wizard C2 Pro Nichia invites "hacking." In particular the lens is deepset. It sits in a kind of well or barrel. This allowed me to take colored gel film and cut out filters that can be placed over the lens. In essence, to make a colored contact lens. In this way, I can control the color of the light, essentially simulating a tuneable high-CRI LED. I wasn't able to do this in such a straightforward way with a competitor's headlamp because the light's lens on that headlamp is almost flush with the front of the head of the light.

Very bright light!
Great little light! Love the head band option. IT does get very hot if you use the brightest setting. Rememebr you will need to turn the battery cap 1/4 turn to charge.

Watch the videos
The instruction book doesn't explain how to use the device. Watch the YouTube videos for instructions on how to operate this flashlight. I thought my first one was broken, turns out I wasn't charging it properly.

After several months it's great.
The quality of light is very good, floody and high cri. The anodizing is wearing off after a week of very light use. The first one I ordered wouldn't charge, not sure if the battery was a dud or the magnetic charger. I like how simple it is to use and the light output but disappointed in the quality for the high price. Also the head band holster is just hard plastic and I find it uncomfortable for anything more than a few minutes. Update, have had the replacement light for a few months now and it's the one I always reach for. Dropped it a bunch of times and still working fine. Controls are intuitive.

Not worth the money.
I bought this set because I was given a wizard white light one... I figured to bite the bullet and buy this so I can have 2 lights and one charger... I should of just bought a charger...

Hervorragende Farbtreue!

Beuatiful light quality - reproduces colours like daylight
After using so many unpleasent "Bright white" cheaper LED torches, having a CRI is like breathing a sigh of relief. Im in health field but for all uses normal color is a huge bonus.Instructions not great, had to figure out the you need to half turn off the cap to charge it. but the magnetic charging is FANTASTIC, youll never want to go back to fiddly USB plugs..

Comfortable head lamp
Would be nice if it came with a charging block. Besides that it’s light weight and fits good. It’s a great light.
