If you use your freezer a lot to freeze things you cook yourself, this thing is great for getting things frozen fast and making filled Ziploks stackable, but it doesn't have enough capacity to be practical as a storage chest for heavy freezer users. Combined with mDesign organizer bins, also 5-star in my opinion, it's part of a great system for organizing a freezer.

Shelves are too close together so only small items can be placed in them. Although they are removable so you can put a larger item in. But then that takes away the amount of items you can put in.looks like I will need to order 1 or 2 more.

We put one quart (measured precisely for recipes) of broth in each freezer bag. Placed in the cube with a divider between each bag. A day later, after frozen, and before putting in the next batch of broth, I realized it actually won't work because when you fill the cube with the allotted amount of liquid, it expands when frozen and you literally cannot pull them out. It freezes everything together. I tried pulling the shelves out too, and they won't budge. I have to defrost them now or I have a useless block of plastic with frozen bags of broth inside. Love the idea, but it is pointless!

I bought this thinking it was large enough for gallon ziplock bags. It is not. It’s only big enough for sand which bags.However, I actually use this every day in the summer as I live in the desert and take a lunch bag cooler with me every day. I use ice packs in my cooler and need them to freeze flat to fit in my cooler properly. I was unable to do that with other food in my freezer. If I stacked them they would freeze together in to a single clump. I needed them to freeze flat and separately. This is the perfect solution, especially since it has 5 shelves and I use 5 ice packs in my cooler. The ice packs fit perfectly on the shelves. Fits very compactly in my freezer taking up minimal space. I’m very happy with this purchase.

I thought this would be larger than it is. It can only hold a quart sized bag, and I assumed it would hold gallon bags for freezer meals. The product is well made though and would be perfect if it was larger.

A little smaller than expected and $20 is steep (cost a star in the rating)- I would have bought it sooner for $10 - two of them actually. I saw the benefits of freezing baggies flat, even supermarket frozen bags which would require a larger cubicle would be good too. But what tipped me in favor was the compact and vertical structure for deviled egg storage in the refrigerator without the usual need for a large flat platter.

I've now had time to enjoy my 'cube' and wow!!! As an empty nester I like to make full size pots of soup, stews, sauces, etc. now after our initial meal I can freeze the rest for future. I'm not taking up valuable freezer space with large containers for each serving. I also make my puppy's food for the week and can freeze it taking minimal space.

Handy Handy Handy. - Stackable and easy to store while preparing meals in advance for the week or months ahead. Pop them in the freezer for short or long term storage and thaw them in the fridge overnight for the next day's meal. Excellent product.

An easy way to store flat packages. I tend to cook large amounts of rice and meals, and I like to store them flat in my freezer so they thaw quicker when I want to use them again. This helps me stack them and keep them organized.
