The Magic of Trees: A Guide to Their Sacred Wisdom & Metaphysical Properties

I love Tess, her books and style of writing. I have her flower book and love it so much I had to get this one too. It does not disappoint. I love the stories behind each tree and the descriptions, energy feel and my most favorite is the fact that each tree corresponds to a planet and is either female, male or spirit. If you love trees, are curious about trees and/or you're a tree hugger then you will enjoy this book a lot.

I feel this writer has much experience in relationship with nature . This book was easy read of beauty. She brought me more deeply into the spiritual life of the trees in our forest and our Earth. Thank you Tess Whitehurst

I really like this book. It's a perfect combo of fact and fantasy. The author has done a great job of gathering tree lore from around the world, adding spiritual elements, and imparting a great love and respect for trees.

With a writing style that is effervescent, insightful, and approachable, Tess Whitehurst does an excellent job of introducing readers to the metaphysical properties of trees found across the United States. In particular, I was pleasantly surprised to learn about trees I had never heard of from regions other than my own and how I cold work with them magically via resins and Bach essences. Of course learning about trees in my own back yard was valuable too!

excellently crafted tree knowledge and a means of deepening the sacred connection with trees. This book I will nickname "The Talking Trees", will serve me well in deepening my appreciation for them. Blessed Be.

Great book and easy to understand

Arrived very quickly. Looks a good book, I bought it as a Christmas gift. I'm sure the recipient will love it.

Lovely little book with exquisite illustrations and in informative text.

Bigger then I expected, a lot of useful information. It comes with inspiration from the author in the form of recipes, spells and rituals. My only complaint is the use of pronouns for the trees (while they're energy can be masculine and/or feminine, I don't think they should be defined by that the way human culture defines us), because I think it only limits them. The use of a pendulum to gather certain information can be a concern for some, but I think it's fine to take with a grain of salt. Most of the information is based on lore from various origins, and this book makes a wonderful reference. It's also very good for flipping through for inspiration.
