Cards are lovely. They measure 7 3/4 inches long 5 1/2 inches wide. The exterior is coated and there is a touch of glitter on the shells, not overpowering. The inside is not coated so you can easily write a message in pen. Envelops are plain. That's ok, some of us like to do our own embossing.I like a fine, good size Christmas card, got these for next Christmas. It is getting harder & harder to find quality, elegant cards. Many people today are proud they do not send cards and can't wait to announce that fact to those of us who still do.That's fine. Cards are my one little splurge for the holidays. I work at it, try to find deals & what I consider "statement" cards, a card people will be excited to receive. A lot of my cards go to older relatives and friends. They love my cards, (it might be the only one they receive) and of course I enjoy shopping for and sending them. So thank you Amazon!
