Works like a charm. This appears to be very well built. I feel like I bought direct from the source in China for a fraction of the price someone in the US would have resold me the same part. Shipping was faster than the guarantee, but still long if you are accustomed to Prime. Maybe this is what they all do, but I was impressed that the "Detector Position" sticker is not something else you have to buy - the lock will not engage unless the strike plate is in place (so you can't accidently prevent the door from closing).

This solved a major headache
I use it on a swinging door that people kept forcing open. That door had the usual electromagnet style of maglock. After a few quick modifications to the door, the door can't be forced any longer. Also, the bolt doesn't drop back down immediately.

OK for the price… gets hot.
I’ve had it installed for about two days. While it seems to work fine, the unit is pretty warm so I am concerned that is could fail…

Very poor quality.
Very poor quality. Maybe enough to lock a toybox, but not the legit door lock. The bolt feels very climzy. If there will be a tiny bit of tention on the bolt it just wont detract. You can hond it with two fingers with no effort at all and it wont detract. This looks like actuator powered lock but all it is is selenoid that has extremely little torque on the bolt to retract.

Dead unit, obviously not tested
Horrible purchase. Stay away from this one. The unit never powered on and the terminal connectors loose and came off. Just an incredibly cheaply made product. No possible way this item was tested, ever.

the coil is Too hot
the coil got too hot over night. the stud is not as solid. I can push it back. someone could stick a screw driver to push it back down.
